Crosses Icons & More
www.crosses.org
Welcome to the latest collection of Orthodox Russian and religious crosses,
icons, angels, and gifts handcrafted (repousse) in the traditional Byzantine
Art style using tin and aluminum.
Some of the icons that we offer are Our Lady of Guadalupe, Virgin Mary and
Child, Mother Of God, Christ Pantocrator, Holy Trinity, Holy Family or
Nativity, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and a big selection of classic or
modern crosses.
The icons and crosses offered by us are individually hand crafted with a
modern technique using aluminum or tin instead of sterling silver. All of
our pieces are carefully embossed or repousse and mounted on a pieces of
wood. Each piece has been given a special patina to aged them. We guarantee
that our pieces will never tarnish or deteriorate .
We will also teach you how you can create your own metal embossed piece
using the decorative art form of the Byzantine icon tradition that
originated in Constantinople in the year 330.
Seven different kits are available. Each kit contains everything you need to
complete your own Byzantine style art. Included in each kit are the metal
sheet, wood piece, tools, pattern or design, detailed instructions and a
video giving step by step on how to create your master piece.

Subject: [ADVERT] Beach Glass / Sea Glass
From: ljbe...@my-deja.com
--------
Beach Glass or Sea Glass are pieces of glass found on coastlines around
the world. Wherever there are people and water you are likely to find
it! Bottles and jars broken and discarded become smoothed by the action
the the water and sand/gravel.
These frosted gems are a passion with coastal residents and visitors.
Many colors exsist (as many colors as there are colors of glass in the
world).

*general background info for advertisers in rec.crafts.jewelry*
---------------------------------------------------------------
Rec.crafts.jewelry is a moderated newsgroup with significant restrictions on
commercial or private advertising:
Only one ad per month is permitted any advertiser.
All ads must begin their subject header with [ADVERT].
Ads should be kept short, and without catalog-like listings of items, or prices.
more detailed information of that sort should be reserved for a web page referenced
by your URL in your ad, or for email responses to those who respond to your ad.
Ads, as with postings to the group in general, must be in simple ASCII format, without
attached graphic files, or HTML coded text, or other non ascii coded information.
Approved advertisements, with the exception of those few catagories
(used jewelry tools and books and the like),which are directly allowed
by the group charter, are NOT posted directly to the group. Instead,
they are saved up by the moderator, and combined, usually weekly, into
a single digest format posting sent under the heading, "advertising digest
post." This means that though your ad has been posted to the group, it
will not appear under it's own header. You will find it as part of the
digest post next sent after your ad has been received by the moderator.
More complete discussion of this topic, as well as other aspects of posting
to and advertising in rec.crafts.jewelry can be found in the FAQ file on
that subject sent to the group around the beginning of each month. If your
news server no longer has it available, you can also find it on the dejanews
web site, or you can ask the moderator (me) to email you a copy.
Hope this helps.
