Yeast identification problem Safale US-05 and S-04

I'm making two batches of cider with two different yeasts. Unfortunately, after
starting the yeasts disolving in water, they got moved, and I don't know which
is which. One batch was sort of a tanish cream color, the other, closed to a
paper bag brown. Can anyone help me figure out which is which?

doubt if you or anyone could tell by sight. You may find someone that
can tell by taste and/or smell.

I went to Google images and searched for "safale s-04"
and then "safale us-05". Most pictures were of the
packages, but there were some useful pictures.
Some folks were washing yeast, and so had small
jars with cultures. There were a couple of petri
dish pics.
Overall, it seemed that s-04 was darker than us-05.

confident would you be. If there is a noticeable difference in taste or
smell maybe someone can help when it's done.

the S-04 takes a LOT longer to drop out of suspension. The US-05
finishes up and drops to the bottom within a day or two. The S-04 stays
clumped up and floating around for maybe TWO WEEKS. Just my
observations...maybe someone else can comment on this aspect of the two
yeasts.
