Pyrimid brewing in Kalama, WA. has an apricot flavored beer. Anyone have
a recipe for making something similar? Would be grateful for any
recipes...thanks...PS, I really liked the beer....

I, too, would like such a recipe. My friends now "commision" beers from me
(the latest was Pap's Cherry Fever Stout) and have recently asked about making
an Apricot brew. It's great to have people think that this zymurgy stuff is
difficult, mystical, and only executable by the select, talented few. They
are thoroughly fooled.

I'll be listening.

I visited the Pyramid brewery about a week ago. I did not get a recipe
from them, but they said that the Apricot beer had no hops (that's right,
absolutely no hops) and was made by adding apricot syrup at bottling
time. They were also were a little ashamed to admit these two details.
