That might be one possibility however, there were multiple ISPs who
subscribed to the @home service and so their customers would have
different new names. Granted, ATT was the largest @home client, but
they weren't the only one. My provider was also a subscriber and so
my @home name will change to @rogers. Also, I believe the bankruptcy
judge has allowed @home to operate for a while longer... till February
I've been told by Rogers. So the @home address you have may start
working again. Keep trying.

Not all @home addresses are out of business right now. AT&T @home service is,
though, as well as several smaller companies.

The best way is to rely on the owner of the address to notify us of their
new email address. Just like we do anytime anyone switches providers. :-D

Comcast negotiated a deal for a few months, they're going to pay a lot
more to @home for those months, while they try to find a new cable
supplier. So your edress will probably change eventually.

Comcast is planning on having their own independent network up and running in
February. That probably means May in reality <g>, so I anticipate 2 email
address changes in the coming year, at least. But, we only use our AOL
addresses mostly.

I have Cox cable who has an agreement with the court that they will
continue to provide us with excite at home until the switch is finished.
Cox Cable will own ours.
