It has come to my attention Lora Andersen, Life's A Peach is again
advertising, this time in BEADWORK magazine. I am also aware that she has
not lived up to her word and resolved all the bead business dealings she has
committed to over the past year. In the past I regretfully gave her the
benefit of the "doubt", defended her in this newsgroup, and ask that she be
given time to correct her mistakes and satisfy claims. At this point she has
not done this and her business mistakes have become a business practice.
Because of the harmful impact to the bead business as a whole this one
concern has done I will be writing to BEADWORK magazine on behalf of myself
and a number of others. I hope others will similarly follow suit and write
BEADWORK magazine about any deals they have had with Lora.
I will not be responding to comments in the discussion group in reference to
this posting. I will try to address off the group communications. Please
keep in mind the IBS has 4 festivals in the next 5 weeks so my access will
be limited for both phone and the internet.

I have said this many times in my life so far, but God Bless you, Chris
England. I too saw the ad.

Thanks Beki .... I want you all to know that I recieved a hale of nasty
mail on this the last time we heard it.... as it turns out my strong
opinions hold out. I have communicated off list with folks on this
subject and I knew I was right.

I never doubted it for a moment, Rainbow! I'm one of the folks from
whom Lora stole merchandise. There are many, it seems. I wish I had
seen the warnings WAAAAY back when, before I sent her my property. Oh
well, ya live and learn. I don't think I'll ever get any of my stuff
back, but I will sign off on Chris's letter to BEADWORK for sure. I
hope no one else gets sucked in by her.

Every time I see an ad for her store in the MetroPulse (local Knoxville
paper), I think about how the cost of that ad could probably cover what
she still owes me, OR take off some of the $100 or so she owes my aunt
for her stained-glass store sign.

I think the same thing each time I see her ad in Beadwork. But then I
come back to my senses and realize she's simply not interested in
making good with any of us. She's still got about $300 worth of my
stuff (probably sold it by now and pocketed the cash), and I know I'll
never get it back.

I don't know, I live locally, so I've seen her at the store. She once
sliced off some handmade soap she had on commisssion and gave it to my
child. At the time, I assumed that she'd credit the artist for it. The
first time I tried to do inventory, she threw a big fit. After doing
inventory, I could see why. Maybe she gifted a lot of her friends.

Why doesn't somebody do something about this women? She is committing fraud.
You could take her to small claims court and at least make her answer to
someone for her bad deeds. But you know what goes around comes around. She
can't take from the Divine what is not hers to take, it will be taken from
her in the same way she did others. Too bad for her, how do people like this
sleep at night. May be she needs to develop a conscience so she can feel the
pain of those she has harmed.
