CrayonByNumber
(http://www.crayonbynumber.com)

If your kids have ever wanted to draw life-like portraits, you might be
interested in the CrayonByNumber CD-ROM.

Here's how it works:
Scan in any photo
On the computer screen, adjust the complexity of the drawing to
match the artist's skill.
Print out a "paint-by-number style" outline on your printer.
Kids color it in with _CRAYONS_ for a life-like self portrait (takes
1-3 hours)

With this CD-ROM, you can chronicle a child's appearance year after year.
Not only that, but each drawing will demonstrate his/her increasing artistic
competency. Completed CrayonByNumber drawings also make great personalized
holiday gifts for kids to give parents, friends, etc.

In the classroom, CrayonByNumber projects can serve as vehicles to
discuss/demonstrate:
Color theory,
Art techniques,
Art History,
etc.

For more information, please visit http://www.crayonbynumber.com or you may

several other magazines listed on our website.

Kits for Kids and Those
Who Want to Be

Learn the crafts all sailors know. Children will love the hands-on approach
that our kits offer. We're giving away the age-old secret. The
(http://store.yahoo.com/rosepetal/shipinbotkit.html) Ship in a Bottle Kit
has everything packed tightly in a wonderful wood box. Instructions, plans,
a specially blown bottle, feasible assembly. Includes empty bottle,
pre-carved ghip's hull, wood for masts and spars, wire, sails, wood for
stand and more.

Knot experts tell us we have the best rope available anywhere. That, and all
those people out there who want to learn how to tie a knot... What's more
logical than to fill a wood box with lots of rope? And include an
instruction book full of diagrams about everyday knots, sailor's knots, and
ornamental knots. The knot tying stand, consisting of a base holding upright
sailor painted pegs, is whimsical and fun and included in the

The (http://store.yahoo.com/rosepetal/tootenkit.html) Tooth Engraving Kit
pictured to the left is definitely a whaler's craft. Fascinated by the folk
art of old time whalers? Use the real tools of the trade and learn how to
engrave a whale of a tooth. Made in faux ivory, it looks and weighs like its
original, which once sat in the jawbone of a sperm whale. First try
scratching on the test blocks. A richly illustrated booklet informs and
instructs. Illustrations of old original engravings abound.

Our items can be used year round and also make unique, educational gifts.

Gardens 4 Kids (TM)

"Where growing imaginations are planted"

Gardens 4 Kids(TM) - www.gardens4kids.com offers a complete line of themed
garden kits, gardening products, seasonal newsletters and garden project
information for children of all ages and abilities that are fun, unusual and
inspiring. All theme gardens have the ability to enhance curriculum for any
grade level. Our themed garden kits have been successfully planted by many
homes and schools across the country. We also provide consulting for schools
and residences relating to the implementation of a children's garden.

All garden kits have been specially designed by Jane Dobbs a Master
Gardener, to encourage and provide a unique opportunity for children to
experience an appreciation for the wonders of our natural world within a
garden environment. Our goal is to provide a successful gardening experience
for all involved. Most of our designs are 4' x 4' square gardens, divided
into eight sections for planting. This size allows children to easily reach
into the garden to plant, weed and harvest. All of the seeds in our kit have
instructions written especially for children. We believe this helps young
gardeners feel more involved in planning, creating and caring for the
garden. Each kit includes information about seed starting, planting, after
care, planning for the harvest and tips for educators/parents when planting
with children.

The Children's Garden Collection offers our customers the option of
purchasing a themed garden kit with or without a 4' x 4' x 11 raised bed
kit. The kit is made from recycled plastic and provides a ready-made garden
area. We also offer tools, gloves, hat, ladybugs, butterflies, animal
garden boots and other fun gardening products to fully complete the garden
experience.

Please browse through our website and discover the ways and wonders of how a
children's garden can encourage and enhance the life of a child!
