The book "The 100 Greatest Baseball Players of All Time"
by Lawrence Ritter & Donald Honig, published by
Crown Publishers, Inc. N.Y. 1981, First Revised
Edition is for sale.

This book, which is in NM condition, is literally
covered with 22 signatures of baseball greats. Yep,
under the dust jacket (NM), on the front/back covers
are the signatures of;

Carl "Yaz, Last Triple Crown Winner" Yastrzemski
Ferguson "No Walks Here" Jenkins
Pete "Charlie you bet I Hussle" Rose
"Rocket" Robert "Bob" Feller
Johnny "Amazin'" Mize
"The Hammer" says it all
Say Hey and say no more
Harmon Killebrew (and he sure could)
Luis "The Sox" Aparicio
Eddie "Mr. Sports Illustrated" Matthews
"Rockin'" Robin Roberts
Whitey "Mr. World Series" Ford
Willie "Strecth" McCovey
Charlie "Way Before My Time" Gehringer
Brooks "The Human Vacuum" Robinson
Pee Wee "Was No pee wee" Reese
Jim "Mr. Underwear" Palmer
"The Duke of Flatbush" Snider
Willie "Pops" Stagell
Warren "It's All A Matter of Timing" Spahn
Rollie "How Many" Fingers
Joe "Thunder" Morgan

The only player who signed this book and is not mentioned
in the book is Pee Wee Reese and we have no idea why.
The authors have included 8 1st baseman, 8 2nd basemen,
8 3rd basemen and only 6 shortstops. So Pee Wee lived up
to his name by slipping under the dust jacket to the signature
list.

We will consider all reasonable offers for this unique piece
of baseball lore with a minimum of $660.00 U.S. Considering
the format, that leaves some room for the real fan to ensure
that his/her offer is the best. All signatures are neat,
legible and none overlay.

The buyer will also receive an Indians official scorecard
(20 pages) from a 1968 game between the Yankees with Mel
Stottlemyre vs Sam McDowell with the linescore done in pencil
and a 1971 Phillies souvenir program (60 pages) with
linescore (with the Expos as the opponent) done in pen.
Also included with this package is a 1987 set of 16 cards
(4" x 6"), 1 player from each of the 14 American League Teams
with "Smokey Bear", 1 card with the American League
Crest and the last card has Smokey's head (drawing) over a
baseball with the banner "National Smokey Bear Day 1987". The
promotion was sponsored by Major League Baseball & a number
of U.S. government departments.
