Sorry, I have no idea on the script on the stamp.
I have always thought "aniline" carmine is slightly "fugitive"
meaning the ink can show evidence of running or "bleeding", your looks like
it is solid, hence Carmine,
or rose -carmine.

for me it seems more rose than carmine, but I have always difficulties
with colours.
But is not rose-lake neither rose pink so may be is carmine, carmine
rose.
The perf is 14,not 12 unfortunately

but that looks carmine to me.
Perhaps Stanley Gibbons SG33?

HP is the only way to go with printers. They do a decent job and have
individual ink cartridges. When the black runs out you don't have to
throw away a half tank of color as you do with the all-in-one
cartridges.

I can't see the watermarks of these stamps.
In reference of the cancellation's date, it should be the Stanley 2008
(commonwealth) n°124 (without the surcharge).
My questions are.
1 - What is the number and price of the stamp with the surcharge CHINA

Well my friend, the stamp stores are still here, changed just a little
bit but still kicking.
Got one locally that is like a 5 pound bag with 10 pounds of stamps.
If you happen to find something of interest you better hold on to it
or you will never find it again. Lots of junk.

Well,,,when I changed servers the new server would not recognize my
scanner software. Never did learn how to use the thing anyway.
Maybe, just maybe I may take some scanner action when I get round2it.
