US Mint Degrades Shipping Yet Again

Just when I thought the Mint's shipping service couldn't get any
worse, they've managed to do it. Not only are they using UPS, the
worst of the national shipping companies, but they are now preventing
UPS from holding a package at their facility for pickup unless they

Interesting toning

I have collected a complete set of slabbed silver eagles over the
years (except 2012) mostly all NGC69/70 and PCGS 70 have a few
ANACS69's thrown in from '93, '94 & '96. I got the coins out to look
at them and realized that the ANACS coins are all starting to show

I collect Hickey Brothers (cigar store chain) trade tokens, and saw an example of their in-house employee magazine from 1948 listed on eBay. Sometimes you find that a seemingly common coin eludes you a long
time...
...for me, one of them was the 1958 dated Vatican 500 Lire silver with
