In the January 2011 Coin World edition is a story about CU suing
some dealer/dealers for producing and selling counterfeit coins in
counterfeit holders. Does this involve the coin doctors as well, or is
this another scam targeting PCGS, entirely unrelated to the coin
doctoring lawsuit?

This lawsuit is strictly against sellers of fake coins in fake PCGS
slabs. Apparently
one or more dealers is acting as a "US distributor" of large
quantities of these.
