Great article! Is anything else maybe some of our other members could
add to this?

I still blame to the education system. But still if I had parents like
I see now day. I would have no attention spanned either. As a matter
of fact I wouldn't even be able to think for my self. They're parents
pretty much schedule they're lives like prisoners. They're so grounded
they can't fart without permission. So to cut this short you don't
even need an attention Span or a brain when someone make up your mind
for you and does everything for you. Just my 2 cents worth!
Are you any relation to Floyd R. Turbo?
James
Or Dan Quayle?
Hey, I shook hands once with Dano, don't insult him like that.
James
You mean you each stood side by side and shook both your hands at the same
time? I could picture him doing that.
Who are you referring to now? Dan Quayle? Floyd R. Turbo? Mr. Jaggers
and I had been having a little exchange about shaking hands with Mr. Quayle
and then you jump in here with that gem. Had nothing to do with what you
wrote.
If you feel self conscious about your writing efforts, yet you still keep
posting here, you obviously shouldn't give a crap what others think of it or
say about it. We have to read what you write first before deciding whether
to "like" it. I gather if we don't "like" it, we're not allowed to comment
about it. Sounds fair.
It happened when he came here to North Lugburz while he was VP, for a
dedication ceremony. Any teacher at my school was allowed to take his class
to the ceremony if we were willing to hoof it about twelve blocks.
Naturally, being the slacker of a teacher that I was, I elected to go and
deprive them of the lesson of the day, which, IIRC, was going to be
conjugating irregular French verbs in the imperfect subjunctive. Three of
my students ended up being expelled, one for farting without permission
during the ceremony, and two for giving the finger to people passing by us
in cars. Serves them right, they weren't paying attention, either.
Probably learned those rude habits either at home or in the ballet class
they were forced to attend.

I once had a student who wrote those exact same words on an exam paper that
I returned with an F at the top of it. He's CEO of a Fortune 500
Corporation now. Sends me $50 every now and then when he's in a generous
mood. I guess he feels guilty or something.
