I use to try stacking one coin on top of another to see if they will
multiply.

Then it occurred to me that I can't tell a girl coin from a boy coin,

With dissimilar base metals there would certainly be a possibility for
generating passive intermods in case you wanted to listen to the radio
(or transmit with a radio). I'm not sure it would matter very much.
