coins.prrarecoins.com

i am a former editor of the coin world values section.

admittedly www.prrarecoins.com is/will be a location for me to buy and
sell coins, BUT
coins.prrarecoins.com is intended solely as an opportunity for coin
collectors and enthusiasts to gather.

You have a 1913-S Type 2 Buffalo Nickel MS-63 list for $1.15. I'm
almost certain this can not be correct. I'm not one to cheat someone
so I thought I would bring this too your attention. If this is really
what you are offering though I will take it off your hands for that
price. I hope this helped!

It helped...it motivated me to take a closer look at (and fix/modify)
the bulk upload tool I'm using to populate the coin store;

Well, how can I pass up that invitation?

Stuart Segan told me that I needed my own Breen Encyclopedia. He
showed me that his was beaten to death and the one in the Coin World
Library evidenced heavy wear. (It also evidenced hand-written
emendations, but that is another story.) We easily call numismatics a
"science" but that aspect of it often is eclipsed by the "art" of
pretty coins. Pretty though they be, there is a science to it, and as
a U Cal Berkeley physicist, Stuart knows science like few others in
the hobby -- though there are a few, in fact, important to listen to
when they speak.

To qualify for Second Class Postage as a newspaper, a newspaper has to
maintain an annual average ratio of advertising to content of like 25%
or 33% or something. Stuart said, "Well, to me, advertising _is_
content." Wow... that was deep...
