I mentioned in another poster's eBay-related problem thread a couple
weeks ago that I, too, suddenly developed a gremlin which stopped the
display of a dropdown alpha list of my past search terms as I begin to type
the first letter in the search window. I had come to value that feature not
only as a convenient shortcut, but as a reminder of things to check.

Anyway, today the gremlin apparently moved on. My old dropdown list
returned and the font in the adjacent Category window now appears as
boldface. The checkbox "Include title and description" has been moved from
below the search window to the far right beneath the green [SEARCH] bar.
Something seems to have changed behind the scenes. Has anyone noticed
anything else different, other than being consistantly outbid on stuff?

My own W/L ratio has likewise plummeted, but that may be a change in my
habits. The coin market appears alive and well, at least on eBay. Not so
much at shows or in shops, I have been seeing and hearing from dealer
friends. Word is that five figures = you've got to be kidding, four figures
= the untouchables, three figures = if it is a really, really, really
special item in the eyes of just the right collector, it MAY sell (or it may
not). Two figures, no problemo, one figure = probably an aluminum coin from
Belgium.
