Gold Colored Dollar Coins

I've now seen in two places during the last week where someone claims
that the gold color of the Sacagawea dollar coin 'rubs' off after a
short time. Is there any truth to this? In my experiments the golden
dollars wear just fine. The patina might 'age' but it definitely
doesn't go to anything approaching silver or gray.

Just wondering if one picked up the claim from the other or if it's a
coincidence, or yet more negative nonesense about the new dollar
coins.

The so-called "Golden Dollars" tend to tone to a very ugly brown.
This might be what is mistaken for the "gold" rubbing off.

The Sacs I have found metal detecting are very toned for such a short time
in the ground. And new President dollars seem to be as bad as sacs. Also the
Lincoln pennies' can't be made like original 1909 version. They corrode as
bad as zincs.

I think they look more 'real' after the fake-looking gold color goes
towards the brown.
