Just got this email and I am FURIOUS!!!!
The Gold and Silver Political Action Committee
Cordially invites you to a reception honoring
Senator Tom Carper of Delaware
Thursday, November 17, 2011
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Baltimore Convention Center
1 West Pratt Street Room 329
Baltimore, MD 21202
Dear Steve,
The Gold and Silver Political Action Committee is very pleased to have
as our guest, Senator Tom Carper of Delaware, whose reputation as a
substantive thinker and well respected legislator proceeded him to the
Senate from his time as a Congressman and later as Governor of
Delaware. Senator Carper holds a prominent position on the Senate
Finance Committee, which has the jurisdiction over our industry's
efforts to expand the IRA provisions to allow a "freedom of
investment" of a fixed percentage of the IRA for rare coin, bullion
coins, and similar investments. He has shown a very positive interest
in the early discussions of this initiative begun at our Chicago ANA
meetings. In addition, Senator Carper is a Sub Committee Chairman
(Federal Financial Management) on the Homeland Security and
Governmental Affairs Committee which has jurisdiction over some
aspects of our efforts to combat Chinese Counterfeiting.
The PAC looks forward to hearing Senator Carper's views and perhaps
his suggestions on furthering our efforts in those areas in which he
has a Committee seat and more importantly a voice that is respected on
both sides of the aisle.
The Gold and Silver Political Action Committee urges you to support
Senator Tom Carper. (D-DE)
The reception for Senator Carper will be held during the Whitman Coin
Expo in Baltimore. The Gold and Silver PAC wishes to thank Whitman
Coin Expo for their continued support. We will be serving cocktails
and hors'd'oeuvres beginning promptly at 6:00 PM in the convention
center Room 329. I expect Senator Carper will provide a short speech
providing his insight on our issues. It is important to have a good
turn out to show legislators, like Senator Carper, that we are a
viable industry, and we will be playing a serious role in endorsing
and financially supporting legislators in the 2012 elections.
Senator Carper is extremely important in our industry's efforts to
expand the IRA provisions and combat Chinese Counterfeiting. Bring
your personal checks payable to Carper for Senate.
Financial support for Senator Tom Carper from all precious metal and
rare coin dealers, collectors and investors is very important. If you
are unable to attend the Baltimore Fund Raiser, please make your
personal contribution, not to exceed $2500, using a personal credit
card by visiting www.carperforsenate.com
Another way you can support Senator Tom Carper if you are unable to
attend the Gold and Silver PAC fundraiser is to mail your personal
checks payable to:

You, sir, are a reactionary right-wing asshole. Kindly shut the fuck up.
<furious email snipped>
This political numismatic soap opera is getting funnier and funnier.
Does the ANA have its own version of the Hatch Act? Does anybody actually
LIKE anybody else in the hallowed ANA halls?
You respond by calling me an asshole, then use profanity, yet you
use a false name and false email address. You are a coward.

I'll admit rightwing asshole is a tautology but your latest post reveals you are
a little pussy too!
Oh come on. Finnan's been kicked off so many ISPs I'm amazed that he can
still find one to spew his nonsense from.
But unfortunately, he can.

Ah! Now I get it. It should have been obvious ... and was. I must be
getting old. No more waiting, I'll plonk him now.
