Everhart, a 1967 graduate of Central York High School,
sculpted the obverse of Bush's Presidential Medal and
will be presenting it to Bush Monday.

Tuesday, Everhart met Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson
to present his medal to him. Everhart designed and
sculpted the reverse of that medal, which shows a
Peregrene falcon in front of the treasury building.
Paulson is a conservationist and is passionate about
birds of prey, particularly the Peregrine falcon.

Everhart's other accomplishments at the U.S. Mint
include the following:

--- Designed the face of the Congressional gold medal
given to the Dalai Lama.

--- Designed the back of the Congressional Medal of
Honor honoring agricultural scientist and humanitarian
Norman Borlaug.

--- Designed the back of the Congressional Medal of
Honor honoring late golf champion Byron Nelson.

--- Designed the back of the Congressional Medal of
Honor recognizing the Tuskegee Airmen.

--- Designed the Statue of Liberty on the back of
every coin in the U.S. Mint's presidential dollar
coin series.

--- Sculpted the face of the 2005 Jefferson nickel.

--- Sculpted the Montana and Idaho state
quarters; designed and sculpted the New Mexico and
Hawaii quarters.
