I think a great deal of inherent American racism is fueled by white angst
over a black president.

In online blogs there are plenty of online bloggers calling President Obama
President Obongo, or "president" in quotes as if it is not really so. In
terms of levels of sophistication, this is about on par with a blackface
vaudeville routine. I imagine that it is only a percentage of Tea Party
followers are racists but there is an element of it there. I think the
mistake is to restrict this to Obama. Attitudes to immigration reform also
indicate racial attitudes.

As an Australian, I find it hard to understand the American Right. More than
'ideologically pure', it seems ideologically incoherent to me. They want
small government when it comes to financial issues (though in government
Bush spent trillions on unpopular foreign adventurism) but at the same time
they want government to interfere in private matters like gay marriage and
abortion. Maximum individual freedom to own guns and maximum government
intervention in a woman's fertility choices is a weird mix.

Apparently you haven't been paying much attention to "dear leader" and his
plans to make you read only what he approves of and see only what he wants
you to see.

Chairman O doesn't believe in the constitution, he sees it as "old
fashioned", "outdated" and accuses it of "living and breathing" and of being
"elastic".

Its called "equal justice under the law" not "social justice" for sycophants
who pay political homage to the regime for undeserved "free" crap.

Get over yourself.

Our president's official birth certificate has been shown many times. Your
racist language betrays your real concerns...that a black man is in charge
of our country and you cannot accept that.

The Birth Certificate provided on the internet is considered
altered.....He's went to Hawaii pretending "grandma" died, but actually
'correcting' his Birth Certificate to make it look genuine! Where is the
voult original?

If he is NOT a Citizen, he CANT be President.

Why isn't anyone asking for his Baptismal Certificate which would of been
done when he was a few days old.

None has ever been provided. Is he actually a Christian ~ or ~ is he truly
a Muslim?

What about the 70% of Military Votes NOT being counted?

It's in a hidden room at the National Library in D.C.
It's kept next to the *real* signed Constitution and the Roswell Treaty.
You should go there and demand to see it - and don't take "no" for an

No it isn't, fuzznuts. It's the real thing, proven FACT. It's not

No such thing happened, moron. The BC was already put online BEFORE he

None of your fuckin' business.

Well good thing then that he PROVED that he IS!! In fact he is the
FIRST and ONLY US president in the history of the republic to prove he
is a natural born citizen, you racist goober.

Holy SHIT, you incredible moron. READ YOUR CONSTITUTION!! There is no
religious test for office. You do not need to be baptized to be
president. And there is NO rule requiring babies to be baptized when
they are a few days old, anywhere or anytime. Why do you hate America?

Those who would vote to stop Obama's agenda are the enemies of Latinos?
Their fellow Americans are in fact their enemy? It's positively despicable
to see a president stoop to blatant race-baiting and the sliming of the very
Americans he's supposed to lead. And the only reason he gets away with it is
that it's bigotry aimed at whites, which as far as liberal common wisdom is
concerned, can't possibly exist. But it does and Obama is full of it
(amongst other things).

"We can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class
families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can
come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

First of all, Obama is completely delusional. The wrongheaded policies that
he, Pelosi and Reid rammed down America's throat are directly responsible
for the disastrous state of the economy. Stopping and reversing them as soon
as possible will fix it. Not that Obama is the tiniest bit capable of ever
admitting error; he's swallowed whole his own B.S. propaganda about being a
"messiah." He's up there in O.J. and the "real killers" territory,
insanity-wise.

That said, there is a big irony in a black president telling white people
that they must duplicate the conditions that made Rosa Parks' refusal
heroic. This is blatant two-wrongs-make-a-right, you-did-it-to-us-so-we're-going-to-do-it-back-to-you
reverse racism. It's also a total insult to compare his America-destroying
radical Marxist agenda to the justice of the civil rights movement that
ended southern segregation, especially coming from one who grew up in Hawaii
and Indonesia and never experienced that for one second of his life.

(Not that the majority of blacks will notice or care, sadly, so complete is
their blind devotion to liberal welfare-state ideas and a Democratic Party
that have annihilated the black family in a way not even the institution of
slavery approached. That they would project such unmerited hero worship onto
a phony like Obama while sitting quiet as someone who really experienced it
like Clarence Thomas was "high-tech lynched" is beyond sad.)

Moreover, if any white or Republican politician had even come close to the
words "gotta sit in back" in reference to their opposition while talking to
a mostly white group, the racial ambulance chasers (Jackson, Sharpton, et.
al.) and the drive-by media would have pounced like rabid pit bulls on raw
meat and not let their clamped teeth loose until the speaker's career and
life were in tatters and all but dead.

But Obama can spew his bigotry on America like raw sewage into a lake and it's
not even a story, except on Fox News and talk radio. . I guess it figures,
given that Obama's candidacy and presidency are a wholly-owned creation of
the media. They fabricated his story, buried his radical past, ensured that
any question about his constitutional qualifications for the presidency
would never be asked, and generally kept their collective tongue shoved as
far up his butt as it could go in order to ensure his election and with it
the implementation of a far-left agenda. Even if they were somehow inclined
to let him go now, which they aren't, they couldn't do so without completely
destroying what little is left of their own credibility for all time. So
they will continue to prop him up to the bitter end, no matter how vain the
effort.

"My name may not be on the ballot, but our agenda for moving forward is on
the ballot, and I need everybody to turn out," Obama said during an
appearance on the "Rev."
Al Sharpton's radio show.

Our? Given whom Obama's audience was when he said that, it's clear that this
was another naked racial appeal. The supposed "healer" who was going to
bring us all together used blatantly exclusive language to frame an appeal
to vote. Again, if this had been done in the reverse, if a conservative had
said that on Rush Limbaugh's show, the media would have gone apoplectic. And
far from healing, this sort of baiting will tear America apart. A president
who understood that he's president of everyone would understand that. One
who thinks bipartisanship can only mean everyone doing everything he demands
and following his every last marching order - and that anyone who doesn't is
an enemy, or a second-class citizen, of part of "them" hasn't a clue.

2012 can not get here fast enough. His mid-term electoral crushing was the
biggest of a sitting president in history, and a message was sent loud and
clear to the big-eared jungle monkey one who still won't listen to it: We
are deposing King Obama the Racist and beginning to correct One Big Ass
Mistake, America.

Read the following list and then consider what is going on in our country
and then decide which party considers many of those points good for America.
Many listed are already in place with others on the way. It may be a good
idea if we parents or grandparents check on the textbooks that are passing
as history books. It's not the history I was taught and it is not the
country I grew up in.

. Outlawed school prayer: ACLU intimidation.

. Eliminated Christmas: Today's holiday greetings.

. Took Easter out of school: It's now spring break.

. Controlled church by intimidation and taxation.

. Thousands of pastors devoted to paganism: Yoga, worship of saints, prayers
to the dead, emergent church ect

. Environment, Mother Nature, global warming hoax, Green Party and animal
rights versus human.

. Eastern mysticism, witchcraft, wiccan: Harry Potter is popular today.

. Reincarnation

. Holocaust kills 8 million to 11 million Jews and others, Not a word about
the 100 million babies killed in abortion. Jewish hypocrisy?

. Killed handicapped and medical experimentation of unfit: Disagreement with
policy? Churches co-heir to the sin by their silence.

. Private schools abolished and placed under governmental control:
Textbooks.

. Prevented radio from religious and conservative broadcasting: Fairness
Doctrine?

. Pastors jailed who spoke against Obama, or against homosexuals -- Hate
speech?

. Christians in America: Secular and sacred being separated.

. Fascinated by Nietzsche who wrote God is dead and life has no meaning: A
most-read book in USA and popular with many of our leaders including the
president and in colleges.

. Exploited economics into socialism: What path is U.S. on today with
government ownership of our resources?

. Globalization: With the U.N. growing more powerful, nationalism is fading,
including the USA. Our monetary payment is the largest of any member nation
with only one vote for U.S. in the U.N.

. Darwinism: We are not taught Creationism in our schools.

. Government medicine: With our new health plan provide benefit for all or
will we have death panels?

. Most of the churches in Germany had accepted Nazism reflecting the culture
instead of the truth: Will the churches in America stand up for truth or is
are they already bending to the culture that is forced upon us?

This country is being swept away from we the people at such a pace that we
have begun to think that "we" aren't important in the schemes of those in
power. They are supposed to work for us, listen to us, represent us, and I
think with a president who has to apologize to leaders of nations that have
nothing but contempt for USA and to distance us from those nations that were
our friends and allies has put patriotism on the lowest level of his
priorities.

We say God bless America, but now I think that we can only say, God blessed
America.

(This country is made up of individuals who have the option of thinking
for themselves. Unfortunately, individuals are free to listen to talk
radio, too. If you're old enough to vote, you supposedly voted for the
individual who best represents your views. If that didn't work out, then
you're apparently in the minority. Stuff happens. Too bad you don't get to
vote for every one of the reps and senators whose vote could affect you. Do
you really expect the rep from a New Mexico district to "work for" you in
New Hampshire? It's hard enough to get your own state congressmen to look

someone threatening your patriotism.)

>Obama's crimes which must be investigated
Which crimes? Attacking a country and overthrowing a government for no
reason.oh, that was Bush.

>Obama is systematically dismantling the U.S. economy

Since Obama took office, the US economy has been growing, not shrinking
every quarter. Unemployment is down, employment is up and retail sales is
higher than in the past five years (consumerism is our national product).

>Obama Exhibit's Potential as a Marxist Dictator

Look up Marxist Dictator and then get back to us with specifics to support
your claim.

>Obama is weakening America's defenses

Obama has not changed one single National Security Policy and has even
toughened some security. Your statement is complete hogwash that even
O'reilly would call you an idiot for saying.

>Obama appears to be thoroughly incompetent

At what?

>Obama hates America
This statement does nothing more than make you look like a moron.

>Obama has appointed czars, a feature of Communist Russia

The President that first created the job of "Czar" was Reagan. Was he a
Communist?

>Obama has nationized the banks

Witness the abject failure to enforce immigration laws.
Witness the multi-billion dollar handouts given to minority farmers, merely

Nicely done, but this reminds me of an image that came to mind many years

Bouncing Off a Bowling Ball. The BBs are facts, and no matter how many or
how hard you throw, they never penetrate the rock-hard surface/cranium.
They just bounce off without even leaving a dent.

So... four BBs fired, no visible effect. Don't let that stop you. I kept
firing them not because I expected the kook to reconsider, but for the
benefit of others who needed to see the factual rebuttals.

From a Philadelphia Inquirer article by Daniel Denvir

...as Americans elected our first black president, the right-wing
media began a relentless campaign to portray Barack Obama's victory as
auguring the rise of black racism. The story eventually found its way
into the mainstream press.

The idea is that whites are being oppressed, much as Southern blacks
were warned away from polling places by Klansmen and violent cops in
the pre-civil rights era. But this Philadelphia neighborhood is almost
entirely black, and no white voters - or, for that matter, any voters
- complained of intimidation

We occupy an ever more alternate universe, in which tea partyers
pretend to be victims of Obama's "deep-seated hatred for white
people," as Glenn Beck put it. Yet at ground zero of one such supposed
victimization, I couldn't find the hate - save for one solitary, if
expertly drawn, caricature. If Fox News wants to talk about race, a
conversation with real people might be a good place to start.

New Book: Crimes Against Liberty: An Indictment of President Barack Obama by
attorney David Limbaugh

http://members.humaneventsonline.com/visitor.php?offer=2136

"Generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children
that this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our
planet began to heal," and that "we are the ones we've been waiting for."
That, of course, was Barack Obama upon securing his party's nomination for
president.

It didn't take generations but only a couple of years for a majority of
Americans to begin to realize that instead of messianic healing, Barack
Obama is inflicting unprecedented injuries on America and the liberties of
its citizens. This book documents this alarming news in a very comprehensive
yet readable way. It is the one book all Americans should read before
November.

Before you dismiss "Crimes Against Liberty" because it is written by a
Limbaugh (after all, you're not a bigot, right?), realize that people can
present evidence objectively even if they personally are not neutral. First,
neutral people rarely have the interest or expertise to write books! But
more importantly, you can't dismiss what Limbaugh says simply because he
might have a conservative agenda. That's a fallacy that cuts both
ways--you'd have to dismiss everything Obama says because he has a liberal
agenda. The truth is, everyone has an agenda. The issue is not the agenda,
but the evidence one presents!

Like the good attorney he is, Limbaugh presents a wealth of irrefutable
evidence for his thesis quoting several liberals along the way. His
meticulously researched indictment of Barack Obama and his Administration
lays out fact after fact that will educate even political junkies who
mistakenly thought they knew it all. I follow politics closely, but I didn't
know the extent to which those currently in power are dismantling our
liberties and security until I read this book.

Since "Crimes Against Liberty" is over 500 pages (including nearly 100 pages
of endnotes), I can only summarize a small number of facts that Limbaugh
presents about the Obama Administration. You need to get the book to
appreciate the breadth of the problem--a problem that most in the major
media have failed to report.

Limbaugh documents that Obama usurps rights and laws. For example:

* Obama admitted that he doesn't care about the lawmaking process just the
result. David Axelrod also expressed this same sentiment, which strikes the
heart of the American system--the process does matter. We are a nation of
laws not men.
* Obama decided to give $140 billion to the IMF without Congressional
approval. Even Congressional liberals objected to this.
* His EPA classified carbon dioxide as a toxic air pollutant and then
claimed authority to set emissions standards without Congressional approval.
(A toxic pollutant? It's plant food!)
* Obama's Department of Justice dismissed a case against the new Black
Panther party that had clear video evidence of voter intimidation. Todd
Graziano, Member of US Commission on Civil Rights, says there is a culture
in the DOJ where they "don't believe the voting rights laws should ever be
enforced against blacks and other minorities." So much for "equal
protection" guaranteed by the Constitution.
* Obama threatened legal action against some companies (such as Humana) for
informing their customers about the potential problems with Obamacare. That
is the government seeking to criminalize free speech!
* The Obama Administration asked Americans to report their friends for
circulating emails critical of ObamaCare. Can you say Big Brother?
* Obama also sent unsolicited emails to federal workers urging them to
support ObamaCare. Some workers complained privately about the partisan
emails but they feared retribution if they went public.
* Obama has been pushing for "Net Neutrality Rules" to seize control of, or
to shut down, portions of the Internet.

Limbaugh shows that Obama often leads by slander and intimidation. For
example:

* Tom Lauria, an attorney in the Chrysler bailout negotiations, claimed,
"One of my clients was directly threatened by the White House and, in
essence, compelled to withdraw his opposition to the deal under the threat
of the full force of the White House press corps would destroy its
reputation if it continued to fight." Why was Lauria's client opposing the
deal? Because Obama offered his UAW buddies 50 cents on the dollar for their
unsecured debt while offering Lauria's client only 33 cents on the dollar
for their secured debt. This is contrary to fundamental bankruptcy laws.
Limbaugh observes, "Here was the President of the United States, again,
attacking the reputation and integrity of a private firm merely for
asserting its rights in the negotiation.... Obama picks winners and losers
based on political allegiance and cronyism--the rule of law be damned." Even
mild-mannered Michael Barone called this "Gangster Government."
* Obama used civil rights language ("discrimination") to slander insurance
companies for lawfully excluding people with pre-existing conditions. He
later inadvertently admitted that's necessary otherwise patients could game
the system and get insurance only after getting sick.
* As if it was his money, Obama threatened to withhold stimulus money from
Arizona because Senator Kyl said on TV that the stimulus wasn't helping the
economy.
* Obama abruptly fired Americorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin--who was
tasked to ferret out government corruption and to protect whistleblowers--as
Walpin was uncovering misuse of a federal grant by an Obama crony. Limbaugh
writes of the cover up by the White House after the firing. (It's alarming
that the man tasked to protect government whistleblowers needs whistleblower
protection himself from the President of the United States!)
* Obama and others in his Administration have characterized states rights
people, pro-lifers, and war veterans as rightwing "extremists" and potential
terrorists. (This from a man who in Illinois twice voted against protecting
live babies who survived abortion, and who refuses to call real terrorists,
like the Fort Hood shooter, what they are.)
* Tea Party people are "tea baggers" and "anti-government" "extremists."
(What a unifier our President is!)
* People who object to homosexual behavior possess "worn arguments and old
attitudes." (Yes, Mr. President, the truth is very old indeed; it's
impervious to hope and change.)
* Doctors are unethical because they do unnecessary surgery to make money.
(Obama avoids mentioning unethical behavior by the Democrat-contributing
trial lawyers who dramatically drive up health care costs through bogus
malpractice lawsuits.)
* Business people are "fat cats" making "immoral" and "obscene" profits
(while Obama rakes in $2.5 million in book royalties and pays the Government
Motors CEO $9 million).

Limbaugh also documents how Obama:

* Is creating unimaginable debt, and that the average debt under Democrat
Congresses is ten times that of Republican Congresses.
* Cooked the books and hid data about the true exploding cost of ObamaCare
just a week before the vote.
* Struck a deal with pharmaceutical companies that lined their pockets but
disadvantaged consumers.
* Signed bills that make bailouts and reckless lending more likely.
* Has given nearly a billion dollars to Hamas-ruled Gaza while undermining
our ally Israel at almost every turn.
* Continues to weaken our national security by signaling appeasement to Iran
and by refusing to acknowledge or confront threats from radical Islam.
* Broke his promises to be transparent and avoided public scrutiny by
burying unpopular provisions in other legislation. This includes the
reversal of the enormously successful welfare reform and the establishment a
super medical bureaucratic board (in effect a "death panel").

Barack Obama is not the President we've been waiting for, but "Crimes
Against Liberty" is the book we've been waiting for. If you love America,
get the book, read it, and tell your friends

We must start to work impeaching Obama. The research is documented and
compiled to expite and impeachment proceeding against Pres. Obama when
Congress reconvenes after the New Year. This book details the who, what,
when, where and why of events, actions, activities, statements, etc. that
show the indictable crimes against the USA, it's people and the culture. The
whole presidency of BO has been and will continue to be a travesty. The
people of this country should be ashamed that they have elected such a

Perhaps Limbaugh is a relative? I don't doubt there are similar books
written by credentialed liberals that are full of opposing viewpoints and
which have an equally avid following. I'm no Obama fan, but I don't need an
attorney to claim "indisputable evidence" that the Obama administration is
causing the end of our society. If this evidence is accepted as
"indisputable" there should have been no need for the book. If you're
quoting from the book, the author even repeats the same tired conservative
hyperbole and catch phrases. Nothing new or fresh here. Mr. Limbaugh
won't be pleased with you, assuming he's out to make some money.

It's an obvious sign of schizophrenia.
They can't organize their thoughts in their heads - so they write
manifestos, hoping it'll make more sense on paper.
Smart schizos make up their own stuff, but half-wits like this guy just

What we need are true States men who are willing to fight for the American
people and fight for their states in an ethical manner. The president's job
is to be a leader! We need someone to take the bull by the horns and get the
intestinal fortitude to deal with the broken financial system properly and
to concentrate on domestic problems. I have a whole list of ways to "fix"
things.

To solve our debt and financial crisis, restructure the banking system,
abolish the federal reserve, put us on a solid trade system rather than the
worthless paper IOU we're on right now which is owned by the government in
the first place. Tax everyone at a fixed rate, repeal laws that grant
corporations the right of individuals. Let bad businesses fail on their
merit. Reduce the size of government by getting rid of excess bureaucracy
and unpopular programs that over-regulate and burden the economy.
Concentrate on basic services and only necessary social programs. Demand the
bailout money back. Force the banks to "forgive" loans that were made in bad
faith and without proper legal paperwork. Cease burdening start-up
businesses with regulation, delays and red tape. Quit trying to fight
multi-front wars. Now start paying bills and balance the checkbook America.
Quit using CREDIT. If the money isn't in the treasury, don't freakin spend
it!

Clean House and end useless programs at the USDA, Dept. of Homeland
Security, FDA, Education, Medicaid, the FCC etc. Roll back the burdens on
freedom that these "entitled" branches of the government impose, practically
without oversight. Lastly, make a REAL commitment to alternative sources of
energy and power - like hey, what about the water powered car? It would save
our economy billions and positively impact our global environment and I'd
have far fewer asthma problems. You want suggestions Mr. President or are
you blowing more hot air? Not that anyone with any political influence ever
reads Newsvine anyway.

I've frequently contacted my elected officials and never got anything more
than a patronizing pat on the head. I'm a proud patriotic American but I'm
fed up with "all talk, and no DO." I'd run for office myself and serve my
community and my state, but have no funding to run. We pay our taxes, we
struggle on one income, our kids are in public school, we're too 'average'
to listen to I suppose but stupid or uneducated I'm not. I'm hoping at least
that my new Governor will not be blind and deaf when contacted on things
that matter. Tennessee needs leadership with fortitude as well.

Posting and owning my words under my own name!

With a flat tax, they would. If I earn $50,000, at 10% flat tax I

The pensions for federal employees in the older CSRS (Civil Service)
retirement system are SELF-FUNDED. That means the fund holding the
dollars to pay those retirees was funded BY THE EMPLOYEES themselves.
My wife has worked for the fed for 40 years, and a certain percentage
has been taken out of EVERY SINGLE PAYCHECK she's ever gotten to fund
the pension that she will get when she retires. AND, in order to get
the size of the pension that you advocate she not get, she HAD to put in
that length of service (fewer years = lower pension). And, the pension
fund is solvent! That means it is well-funded enough, and earns enough
interest, that NO TAXPAYER MONEY is used to pay federal pensions. Are
you advocating that people who worked 40 years, and funded their own
pension, under the promise for 40 years that they would get that
pension, should not get it? It's THEIR money, it shouldn't be taken
away from them, and it's wrong of you to be trying to make them
scapegoats for a problem that they didn't create, which their pension
fund has nothing to do with.

Oh, and people who were hired by the federal government in 1987 and
after are in a different retirement system, called FERS, which while it
has a MUCH smaller pension, mostly consists of a 401(K) plan called the
TSP. And while people in that plan do get up to a 5% match from their
employer (the government), that's no different than what many private
companies do for their employees in 401(K) plans. People in CSRS can
also contribute to the TSP, but they get no matching. Again, their money!

They ironic thing about this is that the Republicans shot down the "public
option" - which would have allowed them to get what they NOW say they want.

What happened today is 100% Obama's fault. More will follow, finally the ice
is broken! When you back scared animals into a corner, you are going to get
bit in many instances. Obama and his Dems are pushing the American people
into a corner and scaring us by stealing our way of life. Many will lay down
and let it happen, but fortunately many will not! There will be consequences
for the lies and deceit. George Bush and his father are just as guilty! If
you lie, cheat, and steal the Light of the universe will eventually remove
the darkness you use to cloak your wickedness. This is the beginning, more
will follow! Americans must buy guns and ammo!!! It is your Constitutional
right to own and bear arms! Obama will try to take that right and all guns
away, do not wait, do not hesitate! The "Second Civil War" has already
begun! It is the Dems and the U.S.government against the Constitution, Bill

the dead and wounded in today's tragedy, their losses are devastating! This,
however, will continue and escalate as a reaction to the actions of our
pro-corporation, anti-Constitution, anti-sovereign, anti-God,
anti-American-born-natural-citizen government of these United States of
America!!! The government has become the school yard "bully" and today was

The right-wing hate mongers on Fox and elsewhere (specifically Beck, O'Reilly,
Limbaugh and Hannity) have blood on their hands, as does the doyen of the Tea
Party, Sarah Palin.
Those people are despicable and should be prosecuted for inciting to riot.
OTOH the left-wing media is completely out of touch with middle-of-the-road
Americans, who make up the majority of the population.
Programs like the DREAM act, Obamacare, etc. are priased by the left-wing media
and generally despised by the American public.
The extreme left-wing bias of the media gives conservative hate mongers a reason
to operate.

The country went to hell in a handbasket when George W. Bush was president.
In fact, you can almost say the same about any of the Republican presidents
in the last 100 years , e.g., Herbert Hoover (24.8% unemployment),
Eisenhower (7.1%), Nixon/Ford (9.0%), Reagan (10.8%), George H. W. Bush
(7.8%), George W. Bush (10.1%). In fact, if you take any of the Republican
Presidents in the last 100 years and put "Depression" after their name,
you'd probably be right.

But George W Bush (aka Bush 43) was the worst. He presided over two
recessions, three stock market crashes, gave tax cuts to the very wealthy
and created two wars paid for with borrowed money and became the first
president since World War II to allow an attack by foreign nationals on
American soil.

In FY 2008 Bush 43 became the first president to rack up a trillion dollar
(that's $1,000,000,000,000) debt in one year. The budget Bush 43 created
for FY 2009 which began in October 2008, 4 months before Obama assumed the
presidency, had a $1.2 trillion deficit. That deficit was inherited by
Obama along with the 2 wars, a banking system in collapse, a housing
industry in foreclsoure, the worst recession since the Great Depression, a
trade deficit of a half trillion dollars, and an umemployment rate at 8.4%
and climbing, reaching 10.1% only 4 months into Obama's presidency. Obama
added about $500 billion (that's $500,000,000,000) to that deficit in
stimulus funds which stopped the recession/depression in its tracks. But,
because a recession often has a long tail, historically, it takes about 5
years and a lot of money to come out of one.

If you were a middle class worker during the 8 years of the Bush presidency
you probably saw your standard of living decline along with your savings

Dem or Rep, I have maintained my standard of living as well as my savings

lacked the flexibility to adapt and make adjustments where necessary.
Generalizations can be dangerous.....and inflammatory, as this thread

While I agree with your basic facts, be careful in your word choices. To
say that W "allowed" the 9/11 attacks is not a fair characterization. The
state of airline security at the time was the product of several preceding
administrations. However, it would be fair to say that his administration
overreacted by imposing onerous, useless security procedures, which in turn
set up an atmosphere of fear and panic that allowed him to cram the
P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act through Congress, with the excesses that that entailed.

One does'nt spend millions of dollars to keep their birth certificate
secret unless there is something to hide. All other Presidents have had it
displayed in their Libraries for all the world to see.

Obama was a CIA operative and cooperated in overthrowing a democraticly
elected Christian Government in Kenya which ended with the installation of
his brother as a very high ranking official in a post created on the spot.
During that coop thousands of Christians were murdered and 800 Christian
Churches were either burned down, or sacked and damaged.

I am extremely disappointed by seeing the N-Word here in a coin collecting
group. I am 1/16th black, which at one time was enough to prevent me from
eating at all-white restaurants. I assume the person using the N-word is
white. I thought it was distasteful and it made me pause and think for a
minute, most likely the culprit who stated the comment is also white. Im not
sure how educated you are, by your comment above most likely not very much
at all, but I do want to enlighten you, the N-word is very offensive to not
just black people but to most people. Maybe you need to brush up on your
history and find out that black people were enslaved, beaten, sold and
bought, their young daughters were raped by slave owners. They were spoken
to nor were they called by their names, they had numbers and were branded.
Men were beaten and degraded and demeaned in front of their children and
wife. Women were disrespected and abused and demeaned as well. They were
forced to work and work, and work, for nothing. They were not allowed to
read or write. Then years later they were still treated with such cruelty.
They could work everyday, pay taxes, pay bills, raise a family but were not
allowed to walk into certain public places, vote, ride in the front of the
bus, drink from public water fountains, use public bathrooms, look a
whiteman in the eye or speak to white people, tell me that wasnt a travesty,
a cruel evil turn of events, a disgusting form of human nature brought on by
centuries and centuries of white men being insecure and full of hate,
selfish and ignorant. But, look how far we have come. All races, all
nationalities. The president of the united states is a black man. Talk about
perseverance, strength, willpower, and self worth! Do some soul searching,
educate yourself, open your mind and heart and always base people on the
individual.

You're just feeding a troll, Bruce. He's probably posting out of the DFW
politics group, and goes orgasmic whenever he can sucker someone into
responding, even if it's for a rational reason as was yours. Nobody in rcc
would mistake the quoted text for yours, and what do you care about what
anyone in the DFW group thinks?

In fact, the email address used to respond isn't mine either and is
why I had no knowledge this was even posted. Does anyone know how to
take this down? I contacted Google but they don't respond.

Google can't - they don't control Usenet - nobody does.
There's no way to censor the content here.
Unabashed uncensored free-for-all is the whole point of these groups.
Besides If we were to censor out lies, Republicans would have to vent their
frustration by shooting more congressman and little girls.

btw - the fellow who is posting as you is "Steve Rudd" and he works at
DCCCD's Richland College.

can't handle our blog posts with factual data about Obama, Reid, or
Pelosi. In the three years I have been blogging with our local papers,
the only ones kicked off were liberals due to their hate speech,
vulgarity, and personal attacks. And dishonesty like what this recent

Can you supply me the proof you have that shows Rudd is behind all
this?

For Republicans, reality is a distant land that needs to be conquered at the
expense of working Americans and their families.

Republicans don't know anything about liberals, but they are taught to hate
them by their media sources. To me it is strange that some dislike Liberals.
Were it not for Liberals, you would probably be working 60 to 80 hours a
week for subsistence wages, if you could find a job. You would have no
Social Security or retirement. You would buy food in a company store to
which you would be perpetually indebted. You would live in a tarpaper shack,
owned by your employer. Your wife and children would be slaving in
sweatshops. Women would be forbidden to vote.

How could you not know that most of what we take for granted in America are
products of Liberal thinking? The 40-hour workweek, Minimum Wage Law, Social
Security, Child Labor Laws and Women's Suffrage are all Liberal ideas. The
American Revolution was a uniquely Liberal undertaking.

If you genuinely do not like those Liberal notions, there are countries were
you will not be troubled by them. Try living in Russia, Saudi Arabia or
Iran, for a glimpse of what your life would be without Liberals.

Republicans don't know anything about global warming either, but it's their
fault.

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal owns a 7 percent stake in News Corp - the
parent company of Fox News - making him the largest shareholder outside the
family of News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch.

The U.S. buys Saudi Arabia's oil, and the bulk of his country's gross
domestic product (GDP) comes from oil. Fox News reliably broadcasts
misinformation on clean energy, and aggressively fights efforts to move
America away from being dependent on fossil fuels.

If all you care about is making people vote against their own interests,
then all you need to do is proliferate anger, falsehoods and confusion.
Republicans don't actually have to stand for anything.

I'm tired of Republicans. It was all a nice puppet show. Foolish elderly
Republican voters actually think that Republicans are going to repeal the
Health Care Reforms and ban earmarks and bring "freedom" back.

Would you hire a confessed animal hater to run a pet store? No? Then why
would you elect politicians who freely admit to despising government?

Republicans rally against regulation of industry, and then America sees how
that turns out when BP spills a million barrels of oil in our seas.

Republicans will rally against gay people, stripping them of civil rights,
and then you find them tapping their toes in airport bathrooms looking for
their gay lovers.

Republicans will rally against non-existent communists but have no problem
driving an economy with Karl Marx like spending of trillions of tax dollars
on endless wars against enemies that did not attack us.

After the last ten years of watching Republicans one word stands out as
defining them perfectly; hypocrite.

A vote for a Republican is literally a vote for the absence of leadership.

Hands down, I'm voting for the Democrats for the next decade.

It was Steve Rudd.
The message headers are consistent with his other posts, as well.
Also, he's the only one that posts to political groups from
rec.collecting.coins.
He does it to avoid having to filter out all the political discussions so
that he only sees responses to his own trolling posts.

He's been doing this kind of thing since the 1990's.
If you think he's liberal or conservative, you're wrong - he's just trolling
for a fight and will take any side that he thinks will accomplish that goal.
Thus, the subject line.

THANK YOU, Republicans!

Now please DEFUND, drain the malignant tumor that is Obamacare.

Look at abortion funding. The House bill would have failed if not for the
Stupak amendment, which cleared the way for a Senate vote.

Tricked by the amendment, some Christians and Catholics (not all) actually
believed the LIES of Obama and his comrades regarding Obama NOT COVERING
abortion! Tricked by the amendment, they failed to look at the evil behind
the whole Obamacare scam.

Informed Americans, however, understood that, if Obama gets his way,
Obamacare would FORCE us to pay for abortions, infanticide (late-term
abortion) and probably euthanasia, no matter what Obama and his comrades say
to force us to swallow the scam.

It turns out that informed Americans were right. Congress is already
preparing the 2011 Budget that will include hundreds of millions of dollars
in grants for abortion clinics. We are paying for those clinics.

Lies do not change Obama's pro-abortion and pro-infanticide (late-term
abortion) stand, nor the aberrant stands of Obama's Health Care Czar Ezekiel
Emanuel and Science Czar John Holdren.

Lies do not change the FACT that we are broke and Obamacare will further
destroy our economy, our future and the future of our children and
grandchildren.

Republicans, please keep on doing your best to remove the malignant tumor
that is Obamacare.

THANK YOU, Republicans!

I work for FEMA, and we are self funded. I am glad I am not a state
employee. Texas pensions are mostly funded by employees, but our Texas
senator John Cornyn is
in talks to find a way that states and municipalities can lump their
pension
obligations to teachers, firefighters, police, state militia, public
health and
all other government employees into a "compartment" and then declare
bankruptcy of only that unit. That's like the crooked business deals
of the 1980s
and 1990s where a company "spun off" it's bad assets into a seperate
company
and THAT company declared Bankruptcy, leaving the original company's
assets untouched.

Why does it not surprise me to see a republican looking for a
legislative way to allow states to declare bankruptcy and cancel all
public employee pensions? Talk about trying to get even with the
unions... yet another disgusting action on the part of the likes of
John Cornyn. This will have major consequences well beyond pensions,
and as usual the republicans are not engaging what little brains they
have. Who will invest in state bonds after such an idiotic action?

The average goverment retiree get's over 100,000$ a year in pension and free
goverment health care for life. They should of cut that cut to the 1000$ a

Rather than write something that is wrong, you might better look at
what the rules actually are:

http://www.opm.gov/retire/pubs/handbook/hod.htm

This publication directs you to details for employees retiring under
the current system (FERS) and the former system (CSRS).

Note that the current system is similar to a 401(k) pension. The
former system was a bit more generous, but the employee contribution
was greater. Healthcare is not free.

As a 14-year government retiree, I'm still waiting for that "free health
care for life" to kick in. Today's average govt retirees never MADE a
$100,000 salary when employed, so their average pension is closer to half
that or less. Simple benefits from my 35 years of service include a
pension and the right to continue paying for the group health insurance I
paid for while working (with the premiums increasing every year). And, yes,
I had the option of retiring at age 55 with reduced benefits. While I was
working, my industry counterparts were making twice what I was and had paid
benefits.

You ought to complain to Rush and Glen about the bad poop they're feeding
you. Or else actually do some research on your own if you don't want to
continue looking like a media puppet. Jerk.

Note that the rcc poster "Peter" already chopped him off at the knees in

What part of stop the spending did Omammmy not understand after loosing the
november election?

NO MORE BAILOUTS! Cut pensions 50% of lazy goverment retirees. Make them
live in their mean's This is hype. They need to stop the re-imbursement of
ridiculous expense items like $12 Starbuck habits a day. Limit politicians
to 3 staff members. Stop state supplied automobiles, and stop all the
arrogant waste at the local level. Yesterday I noticed local 3 cop cars
responding to some "crime". I later read in this mornings paper that some
guy was hitting her girl friend at a motel room.,Probably drug addicts. Is
this how we want our tax dollars spent?

Federal agencies like FSHA, DOE, DOE,DEA, CIA, and countless other worthless
entities that can't seem to succeed should be wound down. Bigger government
is just an excuse to waste more money.
