1943 estados unidos mexicanos 1$ coin

we keep finding coins that look like the one we have but the date on
mine is 1943 and the date on the ones we see like it is 1997. If
anyone knows about this coin I would love to know more and it's worth.

If it looks like this, it is probably a 1943 Mexican 1 peso coin

It weighs 16.6600 grams, is silver, 0.720 fine and has an actual silver
weight (ASW) of 0.3856 oz. With silver at about $40, it has a value of
about $15-16.

Like many contemporary silver coins, there may be known fakes. So check
with a dealer.
