is there a password protection program for outlook express? Leaving for a
week and I'd rather not have the step read my mail

If you often buy crap on-line, like me <----<<<huge eBay nut...join ''big
crumbs'', find a retailer (thousands) on it's site, click 'go shopping' and
get paid to shop. Works great for PayPal...I'm clueless about debit or
credit cards. http://www.bigcrumbs.com/crumbs/landing.do?r=zeek0570&s=78826

It depends on whether your newsserver requires you to login or not. To find
out go to Tools--> Accounts. Then choose the news or mail menu, highlight
the account and then click on properties. When the account is displayed go
to the server menu. That is where you put in your password. If your
password is there, remove it, That will require you to login everytime you
use the account. You must repeat the process for every mail and news
accounts you have. Make sure you remember your password or you won't be
able to login again.

I understand this, but the opportunity to read previously sent/downloaded
mail is behind the cancel key.

Will be other people needing to access the computer ? If not, you can
protect it by a BIOS password.

No fooling you guys, huh? It's for the wife. I am so sick of her nosing
thru my emails, hi honey :). I don't want to cut off her access, just my
inbox.
