I have been out of touch with many of you for the past couple of years
and have just now found time to locate where the h@!! everyone went.
Anyway, I have put together a small project that will show and tell
some history of this group.

you picture the 'Full Dress' RCC badge. I still have mine but gave
away the 'Regular' badges to 2 ex-presidents of the ANA, including
Gary Lewis, who paid for our one and only meeting at the convention. I
am the proud owner of 4 RCC tokens.
As for what has happened to the group...petty politics and a recent
rash of trolls (who thankfully have since disappeared) has wiped out a
lot of the regulars.

Hey, Dan. Welcome back. I have to one-up Jud here. I have TWO full
sets of all tokens and both styles of the badges.
As for the history of the tokens and other miscellaneous information,
there were roughly 120-125 of each token struck (the One Ember was, in
fact, 121). If you check the RCC archives, all of the information is
there. I remember doing the research myself a few years back.
You may remember one of the biggest "news events" concerning the
tokens was when Alan Hagar sued RCC and a few specific members. Eric
Tillery, with the help of some other members, put together a full set
of the large tokens (no sparks or badges) and auctioned them on ebay,
proceeds to go to the RCC Legal Defense Fund. If I remember, a
collector in England won it for $135 US. Last I heard Hagars lawsuits
were thrown out as frivilous and unsubstantiated.
To expand RCC off the net, when my daughter was in pre-school, her
class was named the "Dragons." I gave her a five-ember token to bring
in for "show-and-tell." It was a hit.
As a personal observation, everytime I see a $50 Pan-Pac commem, I'm
reminded of the One Ember.
As Jud said, the old crew has, for the most part, moved on to other
online discussion forums. RCC was inundated with trolls a few years
back. After they left, a lot of regulars stayed as lurkers but didn't
post much. Recently, we were hammered by two trolls. Neither has
been here for about a month, so maybe they've moved on. Occasionally,
someone crossposts to AMOE, and it starts all over. Other than that,
Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? :-)

Anybody have a picture of the Lapel pins that were made for RCC?
If you have one please send me a copy of it so I can include it in the
file.
