NEED: Anyone have $1 Coins?

Those Susan Anthoney $1 coins?

I got a lava hot wallet and am manic in need of as many of those $1
coins as I can get my hands on.. Any sources?

I'm talkin' about a need to purchase by the pound, as in fill up a
dump truck and place in hermetic-sealed until the rapture in 2012 dec

Have you drained your local banks? Just ask for mixed rolls, and you
should get a bunch. As for the rapture, if the Mayan calendar,
Nostradomis and other seers are correct, the date is supposed to be
December 21, 2011. :-)

Typing of which, whilst at the local money changer (bank) I left with a
pocket full of 'funny money' $1coins, $.50 coins and some $2 bills.
A day later I finally noticed I had Not yet spent the 2010 Sacky I had
gotten as change from that bank visit. Still haven't spent it, but I
will probably do so on our next road trip.

The USMint sells them in $250 boxes at face delivered. You can even pick the
designs that you want!

Nope. The US Mint sells Native American and Presidential dollar coins,
but the Susan B Anthony dollar coins were last minted in 1999.

When I get commingled (circulated) dollar coins from my bank, in boxes
of 1000, the SBAs are about 10 to 12 % of the total, and the rest are
Sacagawea(2000, 2001 and a few 2002-2008), Native American (2009,
2010) and Presidential.

I must admit to a severe OOPS. I got an owie on my index finger.
When I typed my original reply said boo-boo caused me to mistype the
year. It should read 2012, not 2011. Is everyone relieved, now? :-)

You would be better putting away some 90% silver dimes, quarters and
halves for use in an end-of-days, insurrection, or money crisis type
of situation

I believe that as it didn't happen in 1000 AD it is unlikely to happen now.

Unless the Yellowstone supervolcano blows its top, of course.
