Ebay Testing Hiding of Item Location

Sales are down from ebay's Chinese sellers, so eBay is testing HIDING
the location of the seller.

eBay also appears to be testing a change to the Item page. In
marketing emails sent to buyers this week, links to listings show Item
pages in which the Item Location is hidden.

A section at the top of the Item page called "Other item info"
includes the Item number, location, ships to, payments, and history
information. But when recipients of eBay marketing emails click on
links to listings, the "Other item info" section on listings is
hidden.

Some users are concerned that by hiding the Item location, it will be
more difficult for shoppers to realize they may be buying from an
overseas seller
