When ICG began using Intercept Shield protection in their slabs
several years ago they hired an independent lab to conduct accelerated
aging tests on their slabs with Intercept Shield along with slabs from
PCGS and NGC.

Of course, the ICG slabs won by a landslide, but what was surprising
was how much better NGC slabs fared compared to PCGS.

The results used to be posted at the IGC website (icgcoin.com) but
apparently they are no longer using Intercept Shield and no longer
have the study at their site.

That's a loss if the Intercept Shield slabs are no longer available.
Since there is
some air INSIDE all slabs, it's a lot more effective there than in the
slab boxes you
can still buy.
