I'm kindof disappointed in this choice. IMHO, the Necedah National Wildlife
Refuge and its small but growing population of critically endangered whooping
cranes is the real Wisconsin standout.

I know of very little 'uniqueness' surrounding the Apostle Islands except that
they are there.

Wisconsin really doesn't have much in the National facilities area that stands
out - including zero National Parks.
