I'll have to console myself by eagerly waiting to see what coin
they're going to issue to commemorate the Canadian hockey team's hat
trick in the preliminaries for the 1960 Olympics. I'm hoping it'll
have a purty red hologram hockey cap and a glass bead encasing a drop
of gen-yoo-wine Canadian maple syrup embedded in the surface, eh?

He had one too, and to poor Nell's disappointment, it was the love of
his life. But its name was just Horse. (I checked and there is no
truth to the speculation that this might have been the inspiration for
the title of the band America's one hit, "A Horse with No Name". Oh,
well. The music trivia crowd would have loved that.)

Cool! Boomers would snap them up like hotcakes smothered in maple
syrup! Especially if the obverse were a hologram of an actual cel
from the original 'toon. What are they waiting for? :-D
A Russian issue of Boris and Natasha, with a bimetallic inset of Moose
and Squirrel, ought to do well, too.

Can anyone of our generation say or even think the words "Moose and
Squirrel" without it being in Boris' atrocious Russian accent?

Don't give them any ideas!
I limit my interest in Canadian coins mostly to those circulation issues
made before 1969, although I have bought a couple of NCLT sets that I
found especially attractive.
The RCM produces beautiful coins. Unfortunately they produce far too
many types for an average collector (like me) to keep up with.
To get an example of every coin produced by the RCM would run to the low
five figures.
