I have a silver coin which I think is a British Guiana, William IV,
one guilder 1836.It has United Colony of Demerary and Essequibo on the
back. It is worn but the writing is legible. Does this have any value
a part from the intrinsic silver content?

It's not a very expensive coin, but worth considerably more than the silver
in it, provided that it's not cleaned, corroded, or damaged in any way.
Value then depends on how much detail is left, but could be in the $20-25
range, retail.
