The Mint seems to be having problems unloading these nowadays.
Will they continue to be offered until the mintage limit is reached or
will they just be discontinued?

The mint is making first spouse no longer available after 12 months on the
market. The two that have been discontinued without reaching limits have
fell considerably short of limits, the last one discontinues having a
mintage of roughly 12,000, proof and unc combined.
