SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Coins from different countries,
centuries, and made of all different metals were
on display and up for sale at this weekend's
Numismatic Coin show in Syracuse.
The event was held at the Ramada Inn, and hosted
by the Onondaga Numismatic Association. Vendors
say they see a variety of people at the shows,
but most are just looking to add to their
collection.

"Most people buy what they like, they see a coin
and they like it and they buy it. Some people
are interested in only bullion coins, and they're
looking to make some profit by buying and selling
gold and silver," said Woody Snyder, vendor.
Sunday's show featured 25 different vendors.
