Well, 90 minutes of trying to order on the website without any luck.
Server must be getting swamped.

Me too. Waited about 30 minutes moving from "Step 1" to "Step 2," and
it finally gave up with "The connection was reset."

After trying to order online for almost 2 hours, I thought I would try
calling them directly. Got right through and got my order placed in
less than 5 minutes. Try giving them a call 1-800-USA-MINT. Worked for
me!

Were you using firefox?

I had problems with firefox, so I started up ie, and my order went
through in seconds.

The mint's website is *still* having problems with firefox. Can't log
in. IE works, though. The mint screwed something up, methinks.

Actually, I WAS using Firefox. Don't use IE anymore as it doesn't
support Macintosh, well, not very well anyway. As it turns out, I like
Firefox better than IE anyway...except when I have these problems.
