NEW YORK (CNN) -- A model who was slammed with derogatory terms by an
anonymous blogger has the right to learn the identity of her online
heckler, a judge ruled.
In August 2008, a user of Blogger.com, Google's blogging service,
created "Skanks in NYC," a site that assailed Liskula Cohen, 37, a
Canadian-born onetime cover girl who has appeared in Vogue and other
fashion magazines. The blog featured photos of Cohen captioned with
terms including "psychotic," "ho," and "skank."
On Monday, New York Supreme Court Judge Joan Madden ruled that Google
must hand over to Cohen any identifying information it possesses about
the blog's creator.
Steven Wagner, Cohen's attorney, said Google complied with the ruling
Tuesday evening, submitting to his legal team the creator's IP address
and e-mail address. Only a valid e-mail address is required to
register for a blog on Blogger.com

Hello
There is more about Liskula Cohen
In January of 2007 a doorman apparently became incensed
with the model and struck her in the face with a bottle,
damaging her career.
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liskula_Cohen
There is no current photos of her that I can find.
CNN did not even mention that on there story. That
is very unfortunate. Not enough research was done before
the story was place on the Internet.
I would like to know more about the female blogger and
know if she is nutty to begin with.
You have a female judge, ruling on two women fighting.
(A three way cat fight).

The unidentified creator of the blog was
represented in court by an attorney, Anne
Salisbury, who said her client voluntarily
took the blog down when Cohen initiated
legal action against it.

Hey Mr Clear and Open. Howya doing? I was wondering if you could b e
clear and open about how you feel about coin collectors. Now dont wet
your pants about this because all this is stuff you said its the truth
of your posted words, and the big legal case you pointed to thats a
big nothing is about libel published anonyminously which means lies.
Heres what you said Mr Clear and Open
On June 30, 2001 in a thread Michael Marota started in the newsgroup
humanities.philosophy.objectivism, a thread that he named "Coin
Collectors are Bullies", Michael Marotta wrote:
"The most successful collectors and dealers I have met are people who
display obvious symptoms of low self esteem: slouching for instance.
Lying about anything and everything from the weather to the published
price of a coin is typical."
You can read the entire post here:
http://groups.google.com/group/humanities.philosophy.objectivism/msg/...
In another post by Michael Marotta in defense of cheating, in a thread
in rec.collecting.coins that he started on December 10, 2000, and
named, "Dishonest Collectors", Michael Marotta wrote:
"Once we accept that a transaction is freely entered into, whether or
not someone gets "cheated" is irrelevant."
You can read the entire post here
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.collecting.coins/msg/81901bb967b1f513
Michael marotta also supported Accupgrade and attacked thosw who
criticized it. he wrote
"Alan Hager [the Acugrade founder] has built a profitable business by
supplying to people something they want at a price they are willing to
pay. That is in and of itself the noblest human endeavor."
You can read the entire post here:

Mr Clear and Open also attacked Byron Reed for suggesting a boycott of
Accugrade:
"You are NOBODY. You have no publications in the hobby. You work as a
press operator for a printing plant in North Dakota. You have no
college degree in numismatics. You do not own or operate an industry
recognized auction firm or numismatic dealership. If you are a member
of the ANA, you have not mentioned it and if you are a member of the
PNG or IAPN, I would be astounded. You have never delivered a
Numismatic Theater Presentation at an ANA convention. You have never
taught an ANA Summer Seminar Class. In short, you are no different
than 100,000 coin acquireres who claim that they know more than anyone
else in the hobby about their own self-defined area of speciality."

Another funny thing. In the above post Michael Marotta confused Byron
Reed with Brad Reed. Michael Marotta thought he was attacking the Brad
Reed for suggesting a boycott of Accugrade!
Im baaack.
You got some explaining to do Mr Clear and Open. If you do and not
just weasle out again with a politicians nonanswer Ill go away. Do you
really beleive what ou wrote that most coin collectors slouch and have
low self esteem and tell lies adn are bullies and cheating is
irrelevent and cheaters are noble? Or maybe you were ttalking about
only collectors from your coin club? or maybe just the coin collectors
you meet from the American Numsmatic Association?
