Hi all again.

I am selling a Lincoln cent set and figuring on parting out the "pre
1935" stuff on ebay. What do you all recommend as a way to best returns?
I realize things like clear photos, but I mean more like packaging and
charging there of, selling one or more on the same auction, minimum
greysheet value to consider for ebay before S&H etc make it not worth it.

TY for any and all replies.

Hi all again.

dw,
I've done that, earlier this year and did well with it. I'd suggest you
ignore the greysheet and do research on ebay using the advanced search
function & look for completed auctions on the dates and mints you are
selling. This will give you a reasonable idea of what they are going for and
how the various sellers did their auctions. Be aware of starting times and
days. Also be aware of the normal summer slow down on Ebay. As to S&H and
such. I always ship in a 4x6 padded mailer and use pay pal to pay postage
and create my labels. For a single Lincoln cent the weight would be under
one ounce. It costs me $1.41 in postage (First Class Mail with Delivery
Confirmation). I charge $1.85 for S&H on such items. The extra pays for the
mailer, label and invoice which I buy in bulk to keep costs down. Obviously
the big Dates and Mints, 09S, 09S VDB, 14D & 31S will create attraction
regardless of condition. The Teen S Mints will do well and any XF and higher
from the start to 1935 or so will do well. Be honest in your descriptions
and like you said good pictures. Hope you do well.
Don

I may be interested in buying it all for a fair price.
