I am looking for a catalogue for modern Italian coins along the lines of the
Redbook for US coins. Something dedicated to Italy rather than the global
KM. Anybody know of one? If the book is in Italian that is just fine.

In case anyone is interested, the answer to this is that the only choice for
modern Italian coins (last few hundred years) is Krause-Mishler. There are
some on-line references and bound named collections, but they are
specialized sylloges rather than general catalogues.
Of course, for Medieval back to ancient coins, attribution references are
plentiful.
