Recently picked up a Dutch lion dollar/leeuwendaalder. It's from Kampen
but it's undated. I looked through Davenport's European crowns 1484-1600
and Davenport 8882 appears to be my coin, from Kampen and undated, which
Davenport dates 1597. Anybody happen to know if this coin must therefore
have been issued in 1597 and if Davenport 8882 is the correct
attribution? Or were undated lion dollars issued in Kampen in other
years? Thanks.
