I think you could have gotten $50 for that one...a real beauty!
Possibly, I was just looking to break even on it. It sold to an RCC'er
20 minutes after listing it here.
I couldn't believe how nice it was when I bought it a few years ago.
The original auction images didn't do it justice.
Probably because:
"Return policy not specified.
Read item description for any reference to return policy. "
The description has no return policy.
Would-be bidders probably wondered what he was hiding.
Thanks for posting this FS here, Phil ... I can never resist UNC Buffalo
nickels, and yours is really nice. Looking forward to seeing the coin!
It'll have to wait until my next trip to Texas, though -- I live in
Switzerland.
I had that in my watch list the first time. I missed it twice!!!
Look....my personal troll who hides behind a killfile.
Hey asshole....the coin was BIN'ed by a lontime RCC'er 20 minutes
after it was posted here. "Would-be bidders" were not a factor in
determining the final price.
The winner knows me and is well aware that I will stand behind what I
sell.

And if I had seen the FS post before it sold, I would have jumped on it
myself, knowing I could trust Phil to the utmost.

Thanks Bill (and Bob), it's nice to see that a few that a few good-ole
RCC'ers are still lurking even if there just isn't much to discuss
here any more.
The noise-to-signal ratio continues to increase exponentially.
I'm a bit confused myself....that was a first time listing.
Have you been to http://www.coinpeople.com yet? That's where I hang out
mostly these days, especially because of the Russian coin forum. They
DON'T have spam, and posting a picture of a coin is very easy because
everything is HTML! There are also very many collectors of USA, other
world coins, and ancients who hang out there (including numismatic
experts such as RW Julian). I highly recommend it!
Apparently they are not excepting new members at this time.
I thought I had seen it before. Guess I was mistaken.
sshhhh! now everyone will know!
