The only time I ever bought a gold coin out via mail of the NYC area,
I had to send it back - wildly overgraded (my recollection is that it
was in a major TPG slab too). And that well-known seller still runs
weekly ads in a major weekly coin newspaper, 'though apparently now in

Gotta admit they were prompt and fairly classy about sending the
refund check.
It's best to only buy gold coins in person, sight seen.

This will be long. They're a sloppy outfit. I'd never do business
with them. We had a thread about some of their ebay auctions in early
January. A few red flags. I offered they were a direct marketing
company in Minnesota based on a phone number they listed. On January
7, I, as well as a few other RCC-ers, received an e-mail from them

the NYCoinMart IT team will take the necessary measures to remove the

associated with the creators of these posts have been logged to a data
file for future reference if so requested by our in house council. We
do apologize for any inconvenience though as citizens of the internet,

could be a simple mistake is casting a light on you that screams
"FRAUD!" Those of us that have been on RCC for a while have been
passing on red flags for years. A simple phone number error listed in
an auction, such as yours, makes all of us avoid it.
