KXMBTV Bismarck

A Michigan man says he sold $2,532 dollars
worth of pennies to a Bismarck man on ebay
but has not been paid.

Bismarck Police are investigating the theft
case. Police say the "wheat" pennies were
collector coins from the 1940's.

The Michigan man mailed the coins in 12
United States Postal Service boxes that
weighed 410 pounds all together.

Imagine what the postage alone would cost
on that. Police say they do have a suspect
but no arrests have been made.

Postage, he would have used those Priority Mail 'flat rate' boxes.
