On the story below, it is one thing to steal gold coins,
and a silver bar. But to steal someone's dentures is
just mean and cold. That person needs to eat like
everyone else.

EL MONTE - A man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of
burglary and possession of stolen property when police
allegedly found him with gold, silver, jewelry and
dentures believed to have been stolen from a Pasadena
home, officials said.
The man's name was not immediately available.
Officers pulled over a vehicle with two people inside
about 9 p.m. near Santa Anita Avenue and Basye Street,
El Monte police Lt. Michelle States said.
Both the driver and suspect fled on foot, she said. The
driver was captured, while the passenger escaped.
The officers found merchandise in the suspects' vehicle
that appeared to be stolen, States said, and paperwork
that indicated its possible owner.
A stash including items such as gold coins, a bar of
silver, jewelry and dentures were possibly stolen in
burglary at a home in Pasadena, States said.
The lieutenant initially described the suspect only as
a Montclair man in his late 20s.
"There's definitely more investigation that needs
to be done," she said.
