This seller bought a 14-d lincoln from me ANACS UNC 60 details with a
story about how he could make $100 if I did a buy it now. In two days
after receipt I see he has the coin UNC PQ cracked out of holder for
$3K. He is the source of numerous posts on feebay blogs and is not
new to the practive of selling problem slabs as raw coins - it's a
free country after all. File a SNAD (Signifcantly not as Described)
claim and get you money back it could take 30 days and document return
shipment label through paypal eBay. You may have to wait the full
time for refund to process from paypal but they will take it from him
and pay you eventually. Watch that the seller may offer to refund
promptly in return for no negative feedback. He is a greaseball for
sure. Nick

Your ebay link shows as a "no item found." Searching for his
completed auctions for an 1839-O half also comes up empty.

Have to admit, the coin at
http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=3064&lot=1393&imagetype=j2 does
look the same with the three dings above the shoulder.

Thanks, Bob. The pictures sure look suspiciously alike. I notice a
bag mark above Liberty's left breast in both photos, too. The ding
are her cheek, though, doesn't look the same. Then again, Teletrade
has a much better and more detailed picture. Definitely deserves
heavy caution.

So far, the auction is up to $1500 so he is already at $400 over what he
paid Teletrade.

The PCGS board members are having a conniption fit because someone
cracked out a coin and
in an open auction it is selling it raw for a few hundred more than
they paid.
But they see nothing wrong about cracking out an MS64
coin and getting it regraded as MS65 and selling it for THOUSANDS
more.

High Five!

Congratulations!

No talk about "oh, the humanity" of not disclosing the full known
history of a coin.

Well, it's refreshing to see a dealer admit in public that he is unhampered by
any ethical restraints.

Fwanky has been suspended from eBay countless times in the past and probably
will be again in the future, it's usually because he won't abide by eBay's rules
governing certified coins and his attempts to pass off low-end TPGs as the real
thing.
He's incorrigible and never seems to learn. But how he'll whine when it happens
to him again! It's laughably pathetic.

Looking at Google Groups archives reveals there were shocking allegations of
pedophilia made against Frank several years ago.
Was there any substance to those allegations?

If I had smeared smoeone like you have been doing to Frank Provasek
for years, I would fear
a shotgun blast in my face everytime someone knocks on the door.
Really, man, people have
been killed for less than you have done to Provasek. What's your
deal?

Sold for $2,275.01. Nice quick profit on an $1100 investment. My 401K
should do so good!

Three sockpuppets are making a big deal about this seller on the PCGS
board...with a posting history of 3, 5 and 7 messages total, all
registered
in the last couple of weeks.

The seller promises a genuine coin as shown in his picture. With no
return privilege, there are plenty of red flags.

The advice of Lee Hewitt 50 years ago is still valid: There is no
Santa Claus in numismatics!

Good for the seller.

Did the OP tell you he got suspended from Ebay for sending antisemitic

This guy knows plenty about being gay. I have no problem with gays,
but if this guy is gay? Then he gives the rest a bad name.
