During the last week the stock market, by percentage, had its worst
Thanksgiving week since 1932. European markets also struggled. Then the week
was capped by flat spending on Black Friday. . . which only saved itself at
all because the stores opened earlier, threw out greater deals, and
attracted a lot more younger buyers as compared to usual. The crowds, for
the most part, however, stayed home.

Bloomberg even admitted we are not in recovery, but still in recession, and
that consumer spending is doing very badly during this shopping season, with
this paragraph: "Black Friday arrived with consumer sentiment at levels
previously reached during recessions, as a record share of households said
this is a bad time to spend, according to the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort
Index. The measure has reached minus 50 or less in nine of the past 10
weeks, an unprecedented performance in its 26-year history." (emphasis mine)

In other words, in the last 26 years, it has never been this bad.

I can hear the liberals lining up now. . . "It's all Bush's fault," they are
saying.

Such tools.

Never mind that the Republicans warned of a crisis with Fanny and Freddie,
and the democrats blew it off. . .

Never mind that the crisis that sent us into this tailspin was due to the
liberal policy of "everyone owning a home, now matter what it takes"
(philosophy of the Community Reinvestment Act). . .

Never mind the astronomical spending during the Obama administration's stay
in the White House. . .

Never mind the increase of federal regulations against banks, insurance, and
the private sector as a whole. . .

Never mind the tendency of Obama and his liberal buddies to bail out failed
businesses, rewarding dying industries, pushing green technologies against
the will of the market, and shifting taxpayer dollars into the pockets of
the corporations that he likes best because they have contributed to his
campaigns or the connections said companies has with his accomplices. . .

Never mind the assault on all businesses with an attempt to
unconstitutionally instill Obamacare. . .

Never mind the hidden increases of taxation against the producers. . .

This recession belongs to Obama, and his liberal policies are making it all
much, much worse.

Of course, none of this is anything new. From the beginning the democrats
were lying about job creation, and even created fake districts to try to put
across their bogus points.

As for your opinion? It doesn't matter to them. You, according to the
liberal democrats, are too stupid to understand the complexities of
government, and the American Economy. Heck, listening to the democrats talk,
I am surprised they haven't said that it is amazing to them that you can
even balance your own check book. They don't care what you have to say
because they believe that only they, the political elite, are capable of
recognizing what needs to be done, and what is best for the "common good."
Besides, a centralized government can be trusted to remain benign, right?

Never mind that this group of political dirt bags have even decided to
embrace communitarianism - which places the welfare of the community over
the welfare and freedoms of the individual. . . at all costs.

The worst part of it all is that it is all being done on purpose. The
liberal democrats are destroying the American System, so they can replace it
with what the Founding Fathers called "utopianism" - a society where The
State works to create the perfect society, even if they must force it upon
the people.

Some may call it socialism. Some may call it statism. Others call it
Marxism. They refuse to call it what it is for the critics will rise up in
protest. The U.S. Congress saw it coming. In 1963 a list of 45 Communist
Goals was presented by Representative Herlong:

Communist Goals (1963)
Congressional Record--Appendix, pp. A34-A35
January 10, 1963

Current Communist Goals

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Thursday, January 10, 1963

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an
ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published
the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the
public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent,
the following "Current Communist Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt
from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen:

[From "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen]

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would
be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation
and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's
promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under
supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has
agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is
rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own
independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be
taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers
compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American
institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism
and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of
teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or
organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial
writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of
artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all
good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and
meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to
promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and
a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and
obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural,
healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social"
religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual
maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on
the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and
state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate,
old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation
between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish
aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of
American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big
picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took
over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part
of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health
clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of
the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social
agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no
one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a
means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy
divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of
parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to
suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate
aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups
should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or
social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready
for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the
World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the
World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

As much as everyone wants to deny it, today's American Liberals have
accepted the torch. Communism did not die with the USSR. Communism is alive
and well in the democrat party.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under
the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist
program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without
knowing how it happened." - Norman Thomas, six-time U.S. Presidential
candidate for the Socialist Party of America, 1948 - from an interview
during the presidential campaign.

Blah....blah....blah

<major snip>

I'm surprised you didn't claim that the democrats continue to ram unused
dollar coins down our throats "for the public good", just to keep your tired
rant on topic here.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was at a low of 41 in 1932...a drop
of 89% from its high. Your headline that at 11,231 it the "lowest
since 1932" clearly indicates that you don't know what you are talking
about.

You are just parroting the misinformation from the right wing media

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katehicks/2011/11/25/thanksgiving_stocks_at_lowest_level_since_the_depression

and adding in John Birch Society discredited "red scare" tactics from
50 years ago. The right wing has indeed fallen off the edge of the
stage, and Republican icons like Reagan, John Tower, Barry Goldwater,
and even George W Bush would be "leftists" according to the tea party
standards.

It seems that the OP is trying to say that the DJIA had it's worst
Thanksgiving Week performance in over 70 (almost 80) years. He
doesn't say it very well, especially his topic sentence. However, he
could write headlines for any major newspaper as they bungle headlines
all the time.

The post World War II financial system is swirling in the toilet at
this moment, we just haven't seen the rapidly approaching flush nor
how much shit will still be left in the bowl following the same.

Actually, I like this dapper little news article and it has a nice
picture of a coin too:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/8917077/Prepare-for-riots-in-euro-collapse-Foreign-Office-warns.html

I know that lots of liberal rubbish RCC'ers don't have twenty dollars
to their credit, but do you have twenty dollars in cash (hopefully
more) squirreled away in case the bank's don't open some fine
morning???
