Last Tuesday I listed a couple of bulk lots of UK mint and proof sets, as
well as some of the nicer later UK sets as singles. These are actually very
pretty sets, but apparently my percentage-of-Krause formula didn't match the
market for these. Well, a few were BIN'd, a few conjured up starting bids,
but most remained looked-at but not-touched as of this morning.

So, seconds ago, I aggressively lowered my expectations. And starting/BIN
prices.

There are also 4 sets from my previous volley that didn't sell, also with
adjustments to my expectations :).

I'm almost out! Thank goodness. A small pile of minor riff-raff on my desk
to list and I'll have liquidated all of my world sets. A minor volley of
stamp-stuff to follow, and I should be done by Christmas and the FUN that
follows, if you catch my drift :)

Thanks for looking!

Oh gee willickers, can you say "not one single sliver of precious
metals"??? or "Precious metal coins have actually been removed where
they might have once existed in a set"??? That might be your problem
in a nutshell.

Catalog value means nothing. The people who print catalogs sell
books, they don't buy coins.

Quite a few of the British coins in your featured sets have also been
demonitized. A copper-nickel proof large-sized 50 "pee" is really
kinda sadddddd in a way.... unless you can get it for about nothing.

Lord knows what a two and one-half decades old pot-metal Israeli coin
is worth in exchange value. I'm thinking not too much.

Dat about sums it up. Don't go away maddddd, just go away.

Do you have to practice being being the biggest asshole in this
newsgroup or does it just come naturally?

I've certainly worked and worked to get to the peak of assoholic-ness
and you are the first to publicly suggest that I am approaching the
great goal!!!

The only problem is that the liars on RCC are of such low quality -
they are all simple money grubbers and real skilled and this world's
most talented liars have much higher goals than just separating fools
from their money.
