As a part of the UK coalition government's measures to reduce
Britain's debt mountain, Scotland is to be privatised at the end of
this year. The chancellor, George Osborne, has just announced that
American tycoon Donald Trump is to purchase Scotland for five billion
pounds - that's approximately a thousand pounds per Scot, considerably
more than they are worth on the open market.

The chancellor, George Osborne, commented that he had taken this
measure so that never again would the English have to suffer another
Scotsman such as Gordon Brown as prime minister. Mr Brown, of course,
had single-handedly dragged Britain into such indebtedness that he
almost brought down the world banking system.

Scotland, once privatised, will become an independent nation. Mr
Trump, who is of Scottish descent, will become president for life. He
has pledged to demolish Glasgow and turn it into a gigantic golf
course. Scotland will also acquire its own currency of one hundred
thistles to the dreekit. The Pobjoy Mint is currently working to
produce the new coins. They will be minted in the newly-created alloy
of kiltanium, whose molecules naturally form themselves into the
colour and pattern of the Royal Stewart tartan. This new and literally
tartan currency will enter circulation in July 2012.
