Another strange thing. The name of the hospital shown on Obama's birth
certificate did not exist until 1978 after a two hospital merger.
Susan E. Nordyke was born in Hawaii the day after Barack Obama's
reported birthday. In fact, she was born at the same hospital where
Obama claims to have been born. Ms. Nordyke has released her official
long form birth certificate -The discrepancies between these two
documents are numerous, but the most probable proof of forgery is the
file and certificate number on the upper right side of each document.
In every county of this nation, there is a County Clerk or Registrar
whose job is to document births, deaths, marriages and other official
papers for archival purposes. This documentation is given a
certificate number and entered into record books. . The certificate
numbers are issued in sequential order based on the date the Clerk or
Registrar received the official document. The later a record is
registered by the county clerk, the higher the certificate number. Ms.
Nordyke's birth certificate was registered August 11, 1961 and has a
certificate # of 61-10637 Barack Obama's newly released birth
certificate is registered August 8, 1961 and has a certificate # of
61-10641. Herein lies the problem, Obama was supposedly registered 3
days before Nordyke, yet Obama's certificate lists a number 3 digits
after Nordyke's. This is impossible. If Obama's document were
legitimate, it should necessarily have a certificate number before
Nordyke's.
And, your a bunch of loonies!
I wonder if the president has collected any coins while traveling?
JAM
Numbering on the birth certificates is likely an accident of the order
in which the paperwork was stacked on the desk of of the clerk who
processed them. Just because one baby is born before/after another
doesn't mean their certificate numbers are going to be sequential;
other births occur in other hospitals around the same time as well.
Whoever processes them simply deals with the pile of forms on their
desk, without consideration of who was born first.
You have nothing. There is no thread upon which to hang even a remote
suspicion that Obama was not born in the U.S. Just because you need to
maintain this conspiracy theory to give meaning to your life doesn't
mean the courts have any interest in the matter at all. Even if you
could get a (questionnably qualified) attorney to take your case, you
have no standing, can show no injury, and whatever court might
(impossibly) deign to hear you out will simply turn to the official
record - the birth certificate that has been validated by the State of
Hawaii - and then throw your pitiful ass out.
Nothing will convince these nut cases that Obama is a U.S. citizen.
They are motivated by ideology and blatant racism. I like the fact
that after Obama killed Osama, the republicans rushed to claim credit.
It was pathetic! Those morons started two wars, tortured people, spent
billions, killed thousands and accomplished nothing, except the
bankrupting of the United States of America. The republican party
takes advantage of these useful idiots, like the tea baggers, birthers
and religious idiots to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone
else. Very sad.

Have you ever been alive and aware of your surroundings during a Republican
administration?
If you can't even bother to check how peoples' names are spelled and don't
have the time to use capital letters, why should we believe you would have
taken the time to learn anything beyond what you share with your like-minded
friends in your texting groups? And of course, why should we care what you
think you think in the first place. We can only hope that people like you
won't ever learn to breed.
He's cross-posting from the hell-hole of alt. politics, so what can you
expect.
I take the lack of capitalizations as over-compensating for their natural
tendency to rAndoMLy iNseRt cAps and use ALL CAPS.
:-)
"Do not feed the troll" is especially good advice when he's a cross-posting
moron. You'll never change the least iota of their opinions, and since
they're drive-by flamers, our newsgroup doesn't benefit much from trying to
whack them into behaving civilly.
I didn't expect the troll to stay around to read my reply and I don't care.
I just get so tired of seeing these lower case school casualties repeating
the same tired and ignorant political rants as if they've been there before
and must counsel the rest of us. Couldn't help venting publicly and the
keyboard needed lubrication anyway.
If you really want a revealing view of the mindset of Obama haters,
check out http://nation.foxnews.com/ and look at the comments left
for any article about the president. Calls for a military Coup d'état

monkey, chimp-in-chief, jungle bunny. Buckwheat, Stymie.
Not fit to shine the shoes of George Bush.
And the Tea Party wonders why they are branded as racist.
Yes, but I have never seen anything like what is happening under this
Democratic Administration. If Obama gets re-elected in 2012 this
country will be a basket case like Zimbabwe. With the lack of any
experience in anything , Obama should have stuck with Community
Organizing. This guy is a real dud, have you seen his performance
with tthe British Royalty last week?
so far obama is doing great considering the mess he inherited from
bush.
Obama saved auto manufacturing from being extinct in the US, GM and
Chrysler are paying the loans back GM is adding production workers in
detroit. Big banks have paid a lot back with interest, Bin laden is
dead, and 2 wars will hopefully wind down by election time. Kadaffi
should be dead or have left libya soon.
sure things arent great, obama hasnt walked on water YET. although one
never knows:(

You obviously haven't lived very long. If Obama is elected it will most
likely be because more people voted for him than for his opponent. Pick
your own bandwagon, if you're old enough. He's already got two more years
of experience as president than any of his potential challengers. So you
believe those protocol tidbits you saw on TV reflect his "performance"

performance of several of our recent Republican presidents at formal royal

I'm thinking you were educated in Detroit, right?
Maybe your soul brothers in Detroit are just plain stupid. Did you ever think of
that?
Look if black people want to go around speaking ebonics, giving birth/fathering
multiple children in Jr. High, not paying attention in school, listen to
violent, misogynistic racist rap music, and playing basketball, I gotta figure
this is all the white man's fault, right?
I suppose that Reagan for instance had lot of experience in many fields

In your line of logic he should had stuck with making bad films;-)

You're unbelievable.
Well, even though you can debate his performance, he did have experience as
state governor of Granolaland (a.k.a. the land of fruits and flakes).
OTOH, if experience in a like office is so important... by the time of the
next election, Obama will have four more years of experience as President
than any of the likely Republican candidates, some of whom won't have risen
any higher than a minor congressional seat and a cheerleader podium at Tea
Party rallies.

If I am not mistaken, Obama other than a good career in the private sector
(=real life experience) he was also elected Illinois state senator (=more
experience).
All that put together looks like enough experience to me but again I may be
wrong...
I don't think any candidate (except maybe an incumbant) has experience in
deciding whether and how to involve our country in war, or in making other
major global decisions. Economy-wise, most any adult should have some
experience in working within a budget. However, most don't have to get
their annual household budget approved by 535 individuals, each of whom has
his or her own "unique" ideas.
I have to wonder about the mindset of anyone who would want the job.

Reagan was in deed an actor and a good one at that. He was also the
governor of California for 8 years where I was living at the time.
His efforts at getting the welfare bums back to work was fruitful. He
froze government hiring where it was loaded with
unproductive freeloaders. If it weren't for the unions he could have
done a better job.
He put the lefty creeps at UK Berkley out of business. Reagan holds
the distinction of being the only California governor to become
President of the United States.
As President Reagan's economic policies stimulated the economy,
creating 17 million new jobs. One-fourth of the new jobs were created
in 68 consecutive months Investments grew because of Reagan's tax
reforms. The inflation rate decreased from 14% to less than 4.4%.
Family income rose 12%. Under Reagan, we enjoyed moral and traditional
family values. The U.S. military was refurbished and strengthened. And
his foreign policies caused the fall of the USSR
Under Obama
Unemployed Americans over 14 million
National debt at start of 2009 was 10.669 trillion
Debt now 14.362 trillion
Deficit for 2011 will be 1.5 trillion
My understanding is he was a good Community Organizer
but has no business or executive experience. He does a great
job playing his teleprompters, it was reported he took 12 of them with
him to the G-20 summit in London. Also on this trip were a staff of
500 including 200 Secret Service; 6 doctors; 4 speech writers; 35
vehicles including his Limo "Beast". I wonder ho much all that cost
the taxpayers.
I wasn't going to get involved in this discussion, but I have to.
Concerning the budget, it's hard enough to keep your household budget
in line when the wife decides she needs to run to Target or Wally
World for BS and the bills can wait. How can any President (whether
you like him or not) balance a budget when you have 535 wives?

" I don't want to belong to any club that will accept people like me as a

A quote that I have often said to my children "I am too old to know
everything". 8-)
Jud
For the last several years I've just lurked here. I used to
participate more, but this post has made me come out of hiding. Why
do people insist on posting this crap to rec.collecting.coins? Take
it to alt.politics. It's got no business here.
Spinning wildly off-topic. To Maz and Jud, as a retired Navy man, one
of my most favorite quotes is attributed to an unknown American Army
General. I've tried, many times, to find out to whom it's attributed,
all to no avail. Here 'tis:
"The job of the military is to kill people and break things. If you
don't want that, don't call us."
Sounds like something Gen. W.T. Sherman may have said.
Jerry

Doncha love OTs?

Considering the amount of exciting on-topic posts lately, occasionally
joining in an OT post can be fun and theraputic. Sorta like running your
auto a/c every month or so during the winter. And your quote sounds like
something Patton would have said, or at least George C. Scott's version of
him.
Jerry
Doncha love OTs?
=======================
Sherman wouldn't have phrased it that way. Bruce may be closer to the mark.
IMO the "don't call us" phrase dates it no later than Vietnam, more likely
late 1900s.
I really like a similar, more elegantly phrased sentiment - attributed to
Churchill and a similar version to George Orwell - that goes "We sleep
soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit
violence on those who would do us harm."
That puts a very distinct stamp on the role of the military in our democracy
and the nature of those who serve us in that role. It's a dirty job and we
owe a lot to those who perform it.
"When it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed. United States
Marines"
Or something like that.
Where's the "Like" button?
Jerry
Criminals not eligible for Presidency.
So what. Idiots like you should not eligible for breathing.
Aside from the fact that material on alt.politics sometimes gets randomly
(or intentionally) cross-posted to rcc, alt.politics is a hell-hole mostly
inhabited by the lunatic fringe. At least here you can get some more
thoughtful reactions from posters you know.
I know, it's annoying for those not interested in following the often
interesting OT, but many consider the OT discussions to be "value added" for
following the newsgroup. YMMV, but show me a Usenet group that has zero OT
and I'll show you a dead newsgroup.
If you really don't want to follow the OT, do as has been suggested numerous
time here. Learn to skim and skip, block threads that have been taken over
by OT, zero in on the on-topic coin material, and stop letting it annoy you
or you'll shave years off your lifespan. Netkopping not only is useless, it
often encourages more of the same behavior.
So many people here continue to assume that because this is a coin
collecting group forum that all posts and discussions here among new and
oldtime followers must be coin-related. That's like being annoyed to see
members at your American Legion post discussing sports or politics, or even
members at a local coin club meeting discussing classic cars. Those who
might want to join in are usually welcome. Those who couldn't care less are
free to ignore the sports and politics and cars and hang with the focus
crowd. It's so easy here to avoid or ignore posts or threads you don't care
about. If you don't feel you're seeing enough coin posts here-- it has been
pretty quiet lately-- start one or ask a question. There have been a
number of innocent coin-related queries that have evolved into lengthy
threads which have prompted additional offshoot coin-related posts.
