I had some luck a couple times over the past two weeks going to my
credit union where I have an account, getting some rare finds.

Two weeks ago, I got eleven red seal $2 bills. Now, earlier today, the
teller asked me if I wanted some old dollars (a roll of Ikes plus one
more) and I told the guy "Hell yeah, I'll take 'em" I told him that,
athough most Ikes are worth about $1, THOSE are coins I save, because
they are rare. I even keep SBAs now, since they are now a bit of a
rarity. Needless to say, I also kept most of the red seal $2 bills,
athough I've already sold one to my brother for face, and my other
brother wants to buy one, and I gave the 7 Eleven clerk that me and my
mom know well, from going to that 7 Eleven, a free red seal $2 as a
Christmas gift. I was going to sell it to him for face, but, he always
takes his time to sort through Prexibux to find certain ones I'm
looking for, and he sells dollar coins and halves to me that he
receives from other people and he puts items away, on hold if we want
to go get money to buy the item, and he has also shorted us money, at
times, and given it back to us the next time we went there, so I
figure, giving him a red seal $2 was the least I could do for him. I'm
also sending another friend a red seal and a green seal $2 bill, in
New York, who I send a $2 bill to, every year with a Christmas card.
No silver coins in a long time, though. No silver dollar coins. Just
copper clad.

My grandma thinks that, due to hard times, people are digging into
their collections, and spending things from them.

Can't wait for the day where a teller asks me "Do you want this $500
(or $1,000) bill?"
