Do you have any recipes???
My coin recipe for unnatural toning: Put the new zinc cents and the golden dollars
directly on a hot burner. Wonderful colors appear. Just don't leave them on too
long, they will char and turn black.
There are quite a few coin toning recipes here:

Yet, people will pay a premium for colorfully toned coins.
I tried that years ago. I placed a shiny Kennedy half in a pickle jar,
carefully released a mouthful of cigar smoke into the jar, and screwed the
lid on. I left it alone for about six months, but when I checked on the
half I saw no difference at all. It did smell somewhat better though after
I dug it out from among all those pickles.
Yes, a great one! Mix your favorite pancake batter, and ladle onto a
hot, greased griddle. Place a Morgan in the middle of the batter.
Continuing grilling as usual, flipping the pancake as necessary.
Voila, Silver Dollar Pancakes!

Cigar and cigarette smoke are mentioned as a way to tone large cents in the
book PennyWhimsey by William Shelton. I tried it a cople of times and it
made a couple of ugly cents look a little better.
