The Decimal Coins of the Sterling Area

It's not an official name any more, but any time a new UK circulation
coin comes out (the last one was 1997: the two pound coin), there will
be six other variations to be collected, from the other territories
and dependencies that use the pound. And until the late 1970s, Ireland
used to be part of this group too.
So, I did a separate overview of each of all these coinages and
territories. Finally, I tried to do a compare and contrast topic,
taking in all these coinages - I'd wanted it to be a straight linear
overview, but it ended up a pick and mix, a bagatelle, a smörgåsbord
of multi-coloured cuckoo clocks. (Yes, it did my head in). Anyway, I
grew muscles just holding open the huge number of browser tabs
required to compare all these beasts. I'm fed up with it now, but if
you can find any mistakes or pick any holes in it, please do:
