Silver dollars

I have some 1921 silver dollars and some indian head cents my mom saved
from the 20's. how can I clean these ? They were is an old black baking
soda can under a floor I ripped up in the house my grand dad owned.

Could be you have a rare baking soda can there. Sorry about the floor.

What's on the dollar coins that you'd like to remove?

Out of the six dollars the one on the bottom of the can is darker than
the others. The cents were well used ,my mother got them when she worked
in a ticket booth at a park in 1924 . There all common dates , no 'S '
markings . Just a nice little can of coins. Also a few large cents with
Queen Lizy that are " well " used.

If your intent is to sell the dollar coins, I would suggest leaving them
just as they are. Any potential buyer interested in them for reasons beyond
their silver value might be smitten by the possibility of a "diamond in the
rough". If you "clean" them, the mystery disappears.

As for the common coppers, either keep them as novelties or put them up as a
lot on eBay and hope for the best. Don't try to "clean" these either.

Thanks guys !! Grand son thinks they are cool. So Dec. 28 he'll turn 18
,coins will go to him. That kid has one great grampa !!! He already has
a huge stamp collection ,so I know he'll take care of the coins.
