Which albums should I get?

I was looking at the Intercept Shield albums and wondering which ones
I should buy?

For now, I am going to go through my coins and get a collection
started. These are all pocket change, but I know I have at least a
couple thousand dollars of coins. I almost had that much money last
time and this time I have even more coins.

So, I do not want to buy albums for coins that I may never see or even
get only one or two from pocket change. I'm not at the stage of going
out and buying coins for the collection, yet......

If your collection is from pocket change, as you stated, Whitman or
Harris folders would work. For higher end, semi-key or key date coins
pulled from circulation, 2x2s would also work. Intercept Shield
albums would be overkill for a pocket change collection, but it's your
collection, so it's your decision.

If you are enjoying pulling your collection from pocket change (as many do), the
chances of finding key dates is slim but they do turn up from time to time.
You can better your chances by getting rolls of coins from your bank and
searching them.
Jefferson nickels offer a good opportunity for getting close to a full set from
circulation, although the silver war nickels have mostly been culled from
circulation over the years and pre-1965 dates don't seem to turn up as often as
they once did.
Post 1964 clad coinage (dimes, quarters and half dollars) also offer an
excellent opportunity to amass a complete set from circulation, with the
exception of the 1970-D half which was issued only in mint sets. The 40% silver
1965-1969 half dollars also have mostly been culled from circulation.
The blue Whitman folders are inexpensive and a good way to organize your
collection.
