Not the proof, just the regular "one" (no pun intended) in circulation.

I'm keeping it even though I know it's only worth a dollar. The fact it's
only availability (I know of) is purchasing it for a little more than face
value makes it odd to find in circulation.

Clarification: I normally get rolls of dollar coins to use for change from
my Johnson Belt Changer. http://lyndeordway.thomasnet.com/viewitems/money-
handling-bill-coin-changers/lynde-ordway-beltchangers (They also have the
dollar size.)

Other than that, is there anything special about finding this dollar?

Barney, by no means are Roosevelt dollars rare or worth anywhere above a dollar, unless in MS-65, and even then, a dollar is still a dollar. You will find it just as much as any other president, and you be best not keeping it: its an extra dollar
