Paper bags have a right to be concerned over the plastics. These poor
things have feelings, too. But do you kill trees to make your paper bags?
How do craft paper bags differ from kraft paper bags? Is the latter meant
to carry cheese? Do you make paper bags with paper zippers? Do you realize
you're a usenet wind bag?

From the website:

"Often one raises a query as to what is the need to have paper bags."

I'd been thinking about that myself. A lot.

BTW, is kraft cheese really cheese???

Inquiring minds want to know.

Do you?

Well, since Hersheys chocolate syrup contains no chocolate and Aunt Jemima
and Mrs. Butterworth imply maple but offer corn syrup, it's easy to wonder
about the cheese-- especially Cheez Whiz.

Are you afraid here to use more than two words? If so, why bother?

When I buy food, plastic bags are more convenient (it is a small but
noticeable hike from the pad where I park into the house).

When I buy things, like clothing or books or magazines, I often prefer
paper bags. Many shop-based coin dealers still offer (small) paper
bags too.

Also, paper bags and plastic bags both burn interestingly, but
differently.

A couple of years ago, it was easy to get nice plastic bags at major
coin shows to place one's book purchases and all the misc brochures
and flyers and sometimes auction catalogs.

At this year's CICF, those nice quality plastic bags were
conspicuously absent.

Since you did comment further on bags and nothing much else is going on
here, I always wondered how most of those evil plastic grocery bags make it
from our home trash containers into rivers and streams. I doubt that it's
the fault of most grocery shoppers, yet they are being hit with five
cent/bag fees in several local counties. It should not be that difficult to
identify the sources of plastic bags in our waterways (winos? landfill
operators?) and try to eliminate them rather than penalize those who use and
reuse them responsibly.

I wonder it the price of oil contributed to the missing free plastic bags in
some cases.

If corn syrup comes from corn, maple syrup comes from maple, where
does 'table syrup' come from? I shudder to imagine!
